Dr. Michael Dennis Massey, MD

Most rude medical assistant I have ever spoken to. Do not consider or refer any physician associated with this practice. They do not have any consideration for patients, regardless of how long they have been under Massey's care. I am so appalled, that I am writing this review, my first.

Ever since Dr. Massey lost his M.A. Christy, I noticed a decline in service and caring. She was the best M.A. I have ever met. Also, since Dr. Massey cut back to 3 days, getting an appt is ridiculous. I had an appt this week that had been scheduled for 3 months and his staff called the day before at 3pm to cancel, then told me they could put me with Dr. Garcia, a stranger, two weeks later! I DON'T WANT A PERFECT STRANGER. Also, Dr. Massey seems to like pushing prescriptions vs alternatives.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Massey for over five years and he is by far the best PCP we have ever had. He is very caring and concerned for his patients. He really takes the time to listen and ask questions. He makes sure your up-to-date on all your preventive screenings. He is very thorough in providing the best possible care for his patients. He has an excellent bed side manner and you couldn't ask for a more sincere, caring person. His staff are very efficient and friendly too. I highly recommend Dr. Massey.

I never really had a "family" doctor. I'm a 30 something guy and just never thought it was important. I only went to a dr or emergency room when I was really really sick. Usually too late for real treatment. I was used to dr's being condescending and I was turned off going for anything.That all changed with Dr. Massey. He is not only competent, but he's the first doctor who didn't make me feel I was wasting his time. He actually cares. His staff is nice and efficient. But Dr. Massey has reaffirmed my faith in going for medical attention.

Dr. Massey has literally saved my life in the past two years with his attention to detail and concern to make sure nothing was overlooked in taking care of me. Both instances turned out to be life threatening and he was right on top of the situation from the very beginning. He even personally wheeled me across the parking lot from his office to the ER to make sure that I was seen quickly. I have all confidence in his ability to meet my medical needs and he is always reassuring and even phones me at home when I go through a particular difficult illness. I would recommend him to anyone who appreciates a doctor who doesn't treat you like you're just a number on a chart. He's the best. I thank God for him.

I've been in Dr. Massey's care for about one yr. His whole office is very sincere. Dr. Massey definitely takes his time with answering all my questions. His diagnoses has been right on tarket. Unfortunately, I have to say goodbye and find a new doctor in Frisco. Dr. Massey gave me a few recommendations and I hope at least one of them is wonderful, caring and funny as he. I highly recommend Dr. Massey to someone who is seeking an internist.
