u were always there to help. you never acted or treated anyone that you were any better than they were. if u can pls come back. i hate who u sold the business to. they are not nice. i need help i pray i can find it some place in mesa. u r a hard act to follow. u r needed should u try to come back. if you could just tk a few pts and work 3 days a week. others heads have grow out of control. ty for ur families time served. come back pls. ty

Sorry to hear Dr. McCauley has retired!! He gave me the first relief from pain that I had had In a couple of years. Good luck to him and Kathleen!!! Due to poor comments on Dr. Pico, will probably not see him if necessary at a later date.

Amazing Place and Office!!! They were able to get me right in with an appointment and when I went in, I got right out. No wasted time. Office staff was friendly and nice with lots of smiles!!! The Gal who drew my blood was so wonderful and did such an amazing job, I didn't realize the procedure was done. She is that good! She had a great friendly smile and made me so very welcome and important! I live in Surprise and will definitely make this trip every time to visit the office. Thank you so very much!!!

Dr McCauley and his staff are top notch. They are very professional and competent. Went to see Dr McCauley for my chronic neck and jaw pain and after an exam he was able to diagnose and treat me with ease. His treatment has been successful so far with little to no pain!! Success!!

He treated me for years for my back, finally told me I had to have surgery. Now, almost 4 years later I am bothered by leg pain and his injections are working again.

This doctor was great: good bedside manners and awesome knowledge. He really took the time to explain things to me and to individualize my care. The office staff was very friendly and helped me figure out my insurance so I knew what my costs of treatment would be. I will definitely be referring friends and family to this office!

I have been getting spinal injections for my back pain from Dr McCauley. My pain is improving and I'm able to get back to walking again. I found the front desk ladies to be very helpful and upbeat. They made my visits much more comfortable and fun. I had to wait about 20 min to see the doctor but found that after I met with him I didn't mind the wait. He was very thorough in explaining my X-ray and MRI and going through the treatment options. I am very impressed with his knowledge and the time he takes with his patients. I am definitely coming back for further treatments and have referred my family to see him and they have had similar experiences and all have appreciated the referral and are getting their pain treated.

My first visit was with his PA James. I went for my neck injections. Never had any relief and had residual headache for 3 weeks. Next visit was with the dr himself. First thing he said when I told him I had zero relief and that it had, in fact, gotten worse was.." Why did we do that? That area isn't the source of your pain." I asked him why he did that area and he said " because I did it based upon my PA's diagnostic report said." I asked him why he didn't check what his PA wrote to make sure it was the proper diagnosis and he said that he DEPENDS upon what James does..... Then he told me where the pain was coming from and tried to get to my MRI but couldn't figure out how to get into the system. He called his secretary (wife) in and she pushed a button and said "that's how". He then told me that he was going to order me an MRI for my thoracic spine and I told him he already has that. He didn't even know what was in my file! He then proceeded to explain the procedure necessary to… relieve my pain and we made an appointment. I got to my appointment and the nurse comes and I asked her what they were going to do and why, explaining that I like to know what is going to be done to my body and that I wanted her to refresh my memory from what dr mccauly had described to me two weeks previous. I also told her that I was wanting to be assured because of the wrong and unnecessary procedure that was done on me weeks earlier due to the mistake of the PA james. She got indignant with me and went to the dr. He came in and I asked him to, again, explain the procedure to me so that I understood. He started breathing heavy, turned redder in the face and became rude and blustery, telling me to find another dr because he was not doing my injections. I told him that I was only wanting to understand and he told me to leave. Clearly this man has a problem with anyone questioning anything he does. Ask yourself....would you trust a doctor who "relies" on his PA and does not check the diagnostic report before doing a procedure...which was unnecessary (and he was paid for it) then had no idea of what was in your chart? You'd be fool to do that.

Dr. McCauley is by far one of the best doctors in town. He is well versed in a multitude of approaches for pain management. If you are looking for a doctor with knowledge, experience, compassion and understanding Dr. McCauley is the doctor you're looking for. I truly feel he takes the appropriate measures to find what treatment options are best suited to treat an individual's pain on a person to person basis.

I moved here from out of state a little over a year ago. Dr. McCauley has been exceptional helpful to me. Although I am still dealing with back pain and was labeled as "failed back syndrome" in the past, he does not give up on me. As a nurse, I have been in contact with many physicians over the past 35+ years. Dr. McCauley has one of the best bedside manners that I've seen. He cares about me and spends time explaining everything to me. It's more than just prescribing pain pills to him. He wants to return you to a state where you can have a decent quality of life again.
