Dr. Michael H Mcneil

Dr. Michael H. McNeil opened his office in 1974 and has practiced orthodontics exclusively and continuously since then in northwest Austin. He has also maintained a satellite office in Elgin, Texas, since 1982.
Dr. McNeil received his high school diploma from Brownwood High School in Brownwood, Texas. Following three years of undergraduate studies at the University of Cincinnati, he was accepted to the University of Kentucky Dental School. There he received his D.M.D. in 1972, and then began his study of orthodontics at the University of Iowa, where he received his Masters Degree and Certificate of Orthodontics in 1974. Professional memberships include The American Association of Orthodontists, The Southwestern Society of Orthodontists, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society. His hobbies include fishing and sport shooting.

He has worked cooperatively with various dentists, periodontists, and oral surgeons in and around the Austin area on crown and bridge cases, implant cases, and jaw surgery cases.
Additionally, incorporated in the practice are traditional whitening procedures, Zoom Whitening, anti-snoring devices, and mouth guards for sports and jaw muscle soreness.
The office staff practices the necessary disinfection and sterilization procedures to meet the requirements of OSHA's Blood born Pathogen Standard. We are in compliance with HIPPA rules, and we have installed procedures to secure the patients' protected health information and to protect patients' credit information from theft.
