Dr. Millis is an absolutely amazing human being and doctor. I had to have surgery on both of my hips (a dislocation and debridement) to avoid replacements I was headed for by this time and future cartilage damage. I was having pain daily before the surgeries (12 and 13 years ago now). I couldn’t even get in and out of the car or tie my shoe without pain. My range of movement was awful. The recovery from the surgery was long and the scars ain’t pretty, but it was 110% worth it. I am pain free, have MY hips, and have no restrictions. Dr. Millis takes the time to get to know his patients and he truly cares about them and their happiness. He makes sure he answers each and every one of your questions, and that you understand everything. I can’t say enough great things about him.

Crap doctor

Love him when you are in Boston but VERY difficult to communicate with otherwise. Pain started 9 months post PAO but could not even get a 1 year follow up appt. 18 months later still looking for answers reason for pain

my right foot when i was born had no arch in it so when i was 13 or so i went in and he did surgery on my right foot to give me an arch and at that night and all the follow ups we had he was simply amazing i would likely be in a wheelchair if i hadn't gotten the surgery and i also never had an issue from the surgery and i'm now 30 so he truly changed my life for the better

The BEST doctor I could have had! I wish he was closer to home so I could visit him more often. He is absolutely wonderful and makes you feel so comfortable and at ease!

Due to a congenital medical condition, Dr. Millis has corrected many of my multiple orthopedic issues. He is the BEST. He takes the time and listens to your concerns and needs. He works with the whole family which is greatly appreciated.

I became a patient of Dr. Millis when I was 13 years old after having about a year of excruciating pain in my left hip. After seeing a few doctors at a children's hospital in providence.. Nobody could tell me what was wrong. Dr. Millis immediately saw that I had congenital hip dysplasia, as well as a crack in my left hip (due to constant impact).At the time, I was a competitive figure skater.. So the news of having to get surgery and not be able to train for approximately 6 months was more than devastating. However, Dr. Millis did everything in his power to ensure that I would recover and be back on the ice before I knew it. He has an amazing way about him that completely puts his patients at ease. He cares about each and every one of them..which is what makes him such a great doctor. Needless to say, after 2 months on crutches and about 4 months of intense physical therapy.. I was back on the ice training. I am now 23 years old and teach figure skating for a living.. And Dr. Millis is… a big part of why I am able to do so. I highly recommend Dr. Millis.. Especially to injured athletes.

Dr.Millis is a top notch Orthopedic surgeon! I am honored that my daughter gets care from the BEST.BOSTON CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL RANKED 3RD IN THE NATION FOR A REASON!!

Amazing doctor. Super nice and personable. Spends time with the patient and answers all questions. Writes letters/reports to the patient/patient's family explaining conditions and giving advice and recommendations. Answers emails within 24 hours. Goes above and beyond!!! If you are ever a patient of Dr. Millis, you will never be pleased with another doctor ever again.
