I have been both a patient and friend of Dr Mike Moran for many years and I will forever be grateful to Dr. Moran for his excellent care, advice and determination for my care. I have always found him to be an extremely knowledgeable, skilled, and dedicated doctor/cardiologist and have no problem recommending him highly.

Dr. Michael Moran has been instrumental in the care of my daughter who at the young age of 25 was hospitalized with congestive heart failure with an ejection fraction of only 20%. Although she was being cared for by cardiologists within the hospital and following her release, I reached out to Dr. Moran for a second opinion after she had an angiogram. He consulted with the cardiologist she was being cared for and after reviewing her medical information, he felt strongly that she should be prescribed a specific medication that has shown strong benefits for patients with CHF. Both Dr. Moran and his office staff were solely responsible for successfully surmounting the medical insurance hurdles; who routinely deny those requests to prescribe medication they deem as too expensive to prescribe. As a result of his intervention my daughter is back to a fully functioning heart. A visit to a cardiologist specialist and full medical tests at UCSF last summer resulted in all positive results… and the advice of the cardiologist to remain on the medication she is currently taking. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Moran and his staff for their excellent care, advice and determination in the care of their patients.
