Dr. Michael Morgenstern, MD

Dr. Morgenstern has been seeing my mother for around 5 years and is so kind and gentle with her. She is hard to please, but is really happy with him. I've often accompanied her to her visits but I just recently became a patient after I was concerned when I developed splitting headaches. He is nothing short of excellent! He is mostly doing telemedicine now by zoom and that’s how we met. He was able to do everything remotely, ordered an MRI which thankfully was all good. He knows just about everything about headaches, including about all these new medicines that he told me about, and I was able to see him within a week of making an appointment. Another specialist had a 3 month wait! Anyways, my headaches are now under control and I would highly recommend him as a headache specialist or as a neurologist for other things based on my experience with my mother and how well she has done since seeing him.

Buyer Beware! Do not go to this Doctor if you are seeking MMJ that has more than a little THC in it. This Doctor has a philosophy of only allowing low THC products regardless of what the patient asks for or needs. I have neuropathy pain which makes it difficult for me to fall asleep and am caregiver for my wife who is currently undergoing cancer treatments. In order for me to help her, I need to get a good night’s sleep. Despite my repeated request for a MMJ product that would help me sleep and after reporting to him that the products he has allowed do not help, this Doctor refuses to budge. He is on a mission, but is is not for his patients. He is heartless. Be wise and find a someone else.

Makes you wait, gives you false information, very rude.

I have been to so many doctors. Dr. Morgenstern really helped. Solved a sleep problem that I didn't realize was so severe. Takes his time with patients. Like some of the comments here mentioned he has great bedside manner. Reminds me of some doctors I used to see in the 80's who have since retired.

I see a lot of doctors but Dr. Morgenstern is different in a good good way. I have become accustomed to waiting when I see a specialist, only to finally meet them for 5 minutes as they look at my chart hurriedly, spend 5 minutes with me and send me the bill. Not Dr. Morgenstern. My experience was completely different with him.The first time I met him, he spent over an hour with me. Admittedly, I have a lot of issues, so I don't know how any doctor could learn anything by only spending 5 minutes with me. He also answered every question I had as I was really worried about something. Dr. Morgenstern was caring, took his time and helped me through it. Thanks Dr. Morgenstern.

Kind, compassionate, smart and available. He took time on his vacation to contact me when I was in the hospital and called other doctors in the hospital so I could get the right tests completed sooner. None of my other doctors even called me!

Was seeing a sleep specialist at Cornell in Manhattan. Switched to Dr. Morgenstern, whose office is closer and am very pleased with the care I am receiving.

He has an excellent bedside manner. I saw him for back pain which got better after treatment and therapy.

I have had headaches forever and this doctor finally helped me get them under control. I highly recommend him.

He was thorough and spent a lot of time with me. Saw him for headaches and sleep apnea. He answered all of my question, was really knowledgeable and helped me out a lot.
