Dr. Michael Harvey Moskowitz, MD

As long as you agree with Dr. Moskowitz, you're fine. Because there is no room for any other opinion or fact, just his....followed by his wife, then Moira. You're not entitled to an opinion, and you can definitely not challenge anything he thinks or says....even with irrefutable proof he's 100% wrong. And you must agree to participate in his "cash only" Medical Marijuana service, as well as his Neuroplastix ..which have the possibility of harmful effects...yet that's never disclosed. But patients rarely complain, not daring to risk their medications, not being refilled.

He is always thinking, about us his patients. When u are in his office, you have his undivided attention. Always concerned as is Moira Opalka, n.p. If you need appt they will make room. I never feel like I am alone with this pain. I only worry he and I are getting older, and I pray I go first. As there will never be anyone that cares for us as he does. All the staff are kind and friendly. He wouldn't have it any other way.

I lived with a back injury for 10 years in bed & 5 years at #8 pain. Just as I recovered I fell & crushed my shoulder resulting in a shoulder replacement; pain level#9 &10 for over 2 years. The greatest thing besides his incredible knowledge of nerves,chronic pain, & brain functions is he never lets me feel I am fighting alone. He uses "we" as in "we will make this pain better" or "we can find medicines to give you your life back." He has dedicated his life to helping people in pain. He never stops learning & is one of the smartest people I know. I'm so grateful for all he does.

Dr moskowitz and his professional staff are outstanding in the level of expertise they bring to pain mgt. never satisfied with a status quo, he is always on top of the latest research and techniques. He helped me dramatically find pain relief so that I could get my life back, and then he helped me reduce prescriptions to almost nothing. They are very thorough and comprehensive in their approach.

We've known Dr. Moskowitz for 22 years and have always been so relieved to have him involved in my very complicated health issues. It is a 6 hour drive but so worth the trip. Thank you Dr. Moskowitz!

He is the best pain doctor in the Bay Area. Rather than relying on oral medications, he is constantly looking for other alternatives.Stanford occasionally sends patients for his review. Patients as far as Nevada come to see him.

I'd seen dozens of specialists over the course of 4 years for my intractable chronic pain, and felt like no one quite got it. From the first 5 minutes of my first visit I knew he was different. I don't think I'm betraying his confidentiality to mention that he himself has experience with chronic pain, as I know it makes him a better pain doctor! (Don't let any medical professional tell you it doesn't matter - it shouldn't, but it does)He is constantly looking for new therapies and solutions, spends as much time as you need, and relates on a very human level. My only complaint is that his office isn't quite the same quality - they almost never answer the phone directly, and usually seem stressed out. I know he is a very popular doctor, and it can't be easy to deal with a bunch of cranky people with chronic pain, but his staff could really improve.

Met Dr. Moskowitz in 1992 at SpineCare, Daly City. Finally a Doctor who was genuinely caring and seemed to understand the total sum of all the previous bad experiences I'd faced trying to get help for a back injury. He has continued to offer the best medical care possible.

Four stars are nowhere enough....there aren't enough stars in the sky! I will be eternally grateful for his help!
