Dr. Michael J Oconnell

This is the worst dental place u could visit. My family and i have given them decades of business, all i needed for them was to polish down a tooth that was cutting my cheek, and they refused to do it. Unbelievable. They would rather have patients suffer than do the most bare minimum level of work. I felt like we were family and its sickening to be treated like this. I guess im just going to have to continue to suffer and wait until i can get another dentist to touch it with a polisher for 5 seconds. Unbelievable. Im so hurt by this.

I have had numerous procedures by Dr. O'Connell, and have been very satisfied with his services, his skills and professionalism.

I had been a patient of Dr. O'Connell's for many years. For many years, prior to seeing Dr. Mike O'Connell, my husband, children and I saw his Father. Once retired, we transitioned to Dr.Mike O'Connell and stayed with him while our children were growing up. He always provided excellent care and advice. Several of us have since moved away but the one person remaining still sees Dr. O'Connell as his dentist as well as other of my family members do. Although I have moved out of state, I was recently in St. Louis visiting during the holidays. During that time, one of my teeth chipped. I immediately called Dr. O'Connell's office and was seen that very afternoon. It was nice seeing him again and as always, I received the excellent service that I had always experienced. I would recommend to anyone looking for a caring, skilled, compassionate dentist, with a helpful and friendly staff, to book with him. He's the best!

Dr. O'Connell has been my dentist for over a decade. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs anything from a simple cleaning to more invasive dental work done. Even though I am terrified of dental work in general, Dr. O'Connell has always provided an outstanding level of care that calms my nerves. He always uses the appropriate amount of analgesics and provides adequate pain relief solutions when necessary. He is very devoted to his patients - he even came in on a Saturday to fix a bridge I had years ago. Dr. O'Connell helped me through the process of getting an implant and even wrote numerous personal appeal letters to my insurance company in an attempt to get the procedure (which was unjustly deemed as cosmetic) covered. I dread the day Dr. O'Connell retires - he is an extraordinary dentist who never ceases to go above and beyond for his patients.
