Dr. Michael Robert Ott, DO

Visited the ER last June 23 for continued hernia related pains. Dr. Ott, did not perform any physical examination and stated he did not see any issues in a CT scan. We insisted on a referral to bariatric and went to Dr. Edgerton. Who found four separate hernia's, one was a femoral hernia... Just do a physical check on the patient. Don't just rely on the images...

Dr. Ott was kind, caring, and compassionate. I was really grateful for his attention. He went above and beyond to ensure I was well taken care of and he took the time to listen to my concerns. Thank you Dr. Ott for quickly diagnosing my issues and quelling my anxiety. I am very appreciative for your expertise.

I was very fortunate to have Dr. Ott as my emergency physician. His communication skills and humor helped to reduce my fear level to a minimum. I found him to be very thorough while being very empathetic to my situation. I left the ER knowing I was treated by one of the best physicians that NHRMC has on staff. Very helpful to me at a time when I was suffering from a poisonous spider bite & Afib.

He barely said two words to me in the ER and he did not know how to treat my pain.

I came to the ER in pain and he gave me medicine that didn't work not once but twice! The same exact medication! His bedside manner was poor at best.

I made more medical decisions than he did, and I was the one in the ER bed. He would just stand there, look at me, and shrug his shoulders.
