Dr. Petersen answered all our questions and was interested in both me and my husband as people. His directions were clear. He explained the procedure and what I should do post-operatively in a way that recognized I did not know the jargon, but I could understand technical details.

I have been a patient of Dr. Petersen's for about 20 years, and feel that I have always received the best of care. If you have retina problems, Dr. Petersen is the doctor you need.

Dr. Peterson is so very caring and really concerned for my eye health. He has been taking care of me for about 15 years now. here is looking at you.

Overall the experience was good. Dr. Petersen told me the 2 fluids in my left eye were separating. I asked him to repeat what he had said to make sure I understood it correctly. After I left the building I realized I did not know what the long term affects were of this. I wish he had gone further and said what this meant long term without me asking. I will have to wait until my next eye exam to find out.

Dr. Petersen is very knowledgeable and speaks in terms that I understand (for the most part). He not only explained the scans taken today, but he explained any future decisions that I might have, e.g., cataract surgery. He explained that I have 20-40 vision in my left eye and 20-80 in my right eye. No one had ever given me that info before. I now have to think things over; should I have the cataract surgery? He said there was a 1 in 500 chance that something negative could result. I am scheduled to see him in 6 months or sooner if I decide to have the surgery. I was very impressed with his knowledge and experience.

Dr. Peterson has treated me several times. He is always compassionate and gives me the best advice and treatments I could ever need. I am lucky he is my doctor.
