Wow I should have read the reviews before I went to this doctor went to him today and it was awful Magruder in a whole total is a mess he was rude very cold had nothing to say to me only spoke to the staff to relate what he had to say to me and I was right there called me ma'am the whole time I was there which I know he could see my name said there was nothing he could do for me to go back to Dr beneke which I reported Dr beneke to my insurance and I will never see him again maybe that's why Dr pohlod was so rude I advise my mom to leave him as well because she's a patient of his and my aunt all he wants his money he lines up all of his patients like cattle stamp their heads with sticky notes so that he will know which eye to do laser surgery on one at a time lined up like 30 people one goes in the other one comes out it's only a money game at Magruder I went there for 2 years from 2023 up until 2024 of February and they did nothing for my eyes I never miss not one single appointment… in my eyes are in worse condition than they were when I started if I didn't need a doctor I wouldn't have been there what a mess I advise anybody to not go to Magruder institute please run it's not worth it I know for a fact two doctors that are not and that's Dr beneke and Dr pohlod definitely do not waste your time or your insurance money or your own money because I definitely did and now my eyes are a mess and I have to find another doctor but you live and learn I won't give up

He did cataract surgery on one eye and I seen better before I had the surgery done. During the surgery he damaged my eye, and I now have iris atrophy 2/2 due to surgical complications. When I went back for my checkup he never told me what he had done.

Horrible surgery done by Dr Pohlod My right eye is deformed. Lost 70% visual field on my right eye due to lowered eyelid. When asked him about it, he suggested plastic surgery! Tearing eyes all the time because of oil gland blockage in both eyes. Can not drive on daylight anymore. Aside from his rudeness, he finishes his sentences with “alright” in a commanding order, so patient can not ask anymore questions. He acts busy when you need to relay your issues with him. He will be chatting in the hallway about movies while patient is desperately waiting to see him. Not a minute goes by that I don’t regret having this surgery done. Don’t take my word for it, read the reviews by other people about him before you let him touch your eyes with his knife.

The results of my cataract removal are excellent. I see much better out of the eye which was operated on. No residual pain or discomfort.

Rude.Does not give a complete exam never dilated my eyes and was suppose to.Second time seeing him and he wears his mask pulled down under his chin.I said something to him this time he just turned and walked away.I will not see him again.Rude and incompetent.

Had an appointment at the Magruder Eye Institute at Lake Nona. He didn't show up! If the patient is no show, they charge $25. How about if the doctor doesn't show up?

Very rude and condescending. Either on drugs or a hangover to scream at me. I will not be back and could care less about a followup. I be going somewhere else.

Spent less than five minutes with the doctor during the visit,

Dr pohlod spends less than five minutes with his patients, he just doesn't care and doesn't want to be there with you. He is always on the run. Does not listen a word you are saying and told me to go back in a year for check up that there was nothing he could do for me. Went to a different eye doctor and guess what? It was a lot of things he could have done to improve my condition. Dr Pohlod is just not dedicated or passionate about his job. I chose Magruder Eye Institute because I thought it was a big name in ophtalmology but this doctor was a waste of my money.
