Dr. Michael J. Poiesz, MD

My mother was assigned to him after her doctor retired. he spent hardly five minutes with her didn't seem to care to have her as a patient didn't review history or labs performed. I Asked about previous test former doctor requested didn't ask history or reason for test and left the room. No bedside manners at all.

When my husband was dying from prostate cancer, Dr Poiesz refused to give him more pain meds. He yelled at me for running out of his meds when he had terrible pain in his spine from the spread of the cancer and refused to give him any more pain medication. He told me to take him to the hospital to get more medication. I did. He was kept in the hospital for a week then sent home. My husband died less than 5 days later. I would rate a 0 if I could.

Dr. Poiesz is a really good doctor. He is never to busy to answer all my questions. He really helped me.
