Dr. Michael Edward Pollack, MD

I chose to see Michael Pollack for my shoulder pain due to his excellent reviews, so I was surprised when I met such an arrogant and unknowledgeable physician. I was wearing a sling do decrease the pain caused by a torn shoulder labrum, nerve impingement, and a severely arthritic acromion process. He told me that to not wear the sling because it would atrophy my shoulder muscles. I explained that I wear the brace during increased pain and remove it when the pain decreases, but he did not listen. He then gave me two injections to my shoulder, handed me a generic listing of shoulder exercises, and told me I would be OK in a few weeks. I asked him about the torn labrum and he said it was normal for a 53-year-old man, and did not need to be addressed? Two weeks later I saw another Surgeon who told me the exercises given by Mike Pollack were contraindicated for my injuries and scheduled me for surgery which included repair of my torn labrum. I would never recommend Pollack and I'm a Doctor!

Dr. Pollack cares and listens to my concerns -over the past decade he has successfully completed surgery on my left shoulder and complete knee replacement surgery on both of my knees-he has found a way to keep me active and doing the things that I love. I just scheduled right shoulder surgery with him, and I continue to have faith that he will find a way to make things better. Can't say enough good things about Dr. Pollack. In fact, my daughter is always recommending him to people in her polities classes who complain of knee or shoulder issues.

Saw Dr Pollack for extreme pain behind my left knee. He simply felt my left knee, pulled & pushed it around a bit. His medical diagnosis was it was swollen. So he gave me a steroid shot in the side of the knee, then left me with the nurse & rushed out the door. No testing or anything. Had pain for weeks after, shot did nothing. Ended up going to another practice in Princeton that was wonderful & they found out I had a Bakers Cyst & finally getting some help. DO NOT SEE POLLACK!

Great surgeon. Goes above and beyond. Finally got my health back.

I found him to be dismissive in the face of MRI studies and reports. Have caught him lying to me on more than 1 occasion. Will not let this practitioner near me agaim

Dr Pollack is an outstanding Surgeon ! Dr Pollack and staff are top notch .

Dr. Pollack is an exceptional Orthopedic surgeon. He has an excellent sense of style to deal with his patients.He carefully listens to the problems and formulates a plan which is in the best interest of the patient. He recently performed an ACL reconstruction surgery on me and I am very happy with the results and my progress so far.

Everyone made visits ,surgery and follow-ups very easy and pleasant .

Dr. Pollock started out as our second opinion. He did more for my daughter in 2 weeks than the first Orthopedic Dr did in 2 months. He listened!!!! and thought outside the box. Well after surgery, my daughter is on the road to recovery and feeling great. Will always be a loyal patient.
