Dr. Michael Leslee Potruch, MD

I want to remain anonymous and do not want to uproot my life for what he did to me 10 years ago. I will not remain quiet any longer and not allow him to be comfortable in his life. He’s done this for too long and to so many women. I don’t want him to continue preying on vulnerable women who “need” him. His name is Dr. Michael Potruch. He is an Obgyn and works out of 11600 Indian Hills Rd # 201, Mission Hills, CA 91345 office. He was very charming and knowledgable, which made me chose him as my OB, but he has other intentions in his devious mind. He answered all my questions and never rushed. He has a woman at her most vulnerable time in her life and chooses to take advantage of it and hopes she keeps it secret as to what he has done to her or hopes she doesn't realize what he's really doing because of who he is...an OB Gynecologist. And sometimes he's successful at keeping women stay quiet- they are scared to say anything or just confused if it really did happen...scared to ruin… their lives for some "petty" little thing they "think" has happened but not so sure what has really happened. I have a good friend that saw him and was lucky enough to change doctors before she was in her 3rd trimester and she said the same thing about him. He did the same to her! But we as the victims sit silently and hope "someone" comes out and says something so we can become brave and come out and tell all. He made me feel uneasy, uncomfortable and dirty- he said things, he did things...I would have changed doctors but I was well into my 3rd trimester and no doctor would have taken me on as a new patient, especially being high risk. He was very condescending and made rude comments. I regret that to my very core...I wished I would have changed doctors and wish I never let that happen. He never had a female nurse come in while he checked me and many other things. One time he made me stand up with only those blue paper blankets around my bottom half and he removed it and fixed it around me. I was completely naked and shocked and I froze. No one else was in the room. My husband was always working and never attended any appts. I need you to do your research about him, read up on his bad reviews, they are all there and out in the open and I can’t believe he’s still practicing as an Obgyn!!!

Avoid this doctor, he is rude and tried to do unnessary surgery to me. I didn't trust him my first visit. Only went to him once and that was enough! Nothing he said was helpful and all he did was make me feel like an idiot for asking valid questions. He should not be a obstrician/gynecologist.

He is very unprofessional, rude, and condescending! There is a difference between being straightforward and being a total JERK. Making racist comments and talking to me as if I'm five is not something I want to experience the first time I meet you. I switch OB's that same day. He should not be a doctor, at least an OBGYN, if he is going to be annoyed by a concerned mother's questions.

Been going to Dr. Potruch for at least 15 years now. He is the best OBGYN. He really takes time to talk to you and he is a no nonsense doctor. He tells you like it is.

I personally love Dr. Potruch. Yes, he is very straight to the point and will not sugar coat things. He may not be the warmest person, but he truly cares about his patients. He has this weird sense of humor, but I dont mind it. I had two previous miscarriages and I'm currently 9 months pregnant. My 1st miscarriage it just happened natually at 6 weeks and my 2nd miscarriage Dr. Potruch performed a D&C at 10 weeks and all went well. Four months later i was pregnant again, and i am now 9 months pregnant. He has always been good to both myself and my husband. There are times when I ask him a question where he looks at me like I'm dumb, but that's just his personality and I dont take offense to it. I laugh it off. He has been sensitive to the fact that i've had previous miscarriages. If you like a doctor that will tell you what you want to hear and be suppppper nice, maybe this isn't the doctor for you since Dr. Potruch can be a little blunt sometimes.

Dr. Potruch is caring and straight forward, no sugar coating the issues which is what I like about him. He has always shown professionalism and empathy as he spends time explaining the medical problem to me and makes sure i have understood. He has made himself available when I've had questions which now a days is very difficult. I would not change Dr. Potruch for another doctor.

I feel very lucky to have Dr. Potruch as my Doctor. He is very patient and caring and has a great sense of humor putting me at ease every time I see him!!!

Wonderful doctor, trust him with my life. I am also a health care professionsl. I have been his patient for over 10 years. Wonderful in every category, very caring, wry sense of humor, not offensive or inappropriate.

Dr. Potruch is incredibly rude & very inappropriate. While I was in the middle of labor, he commented about having to meet his wife for dinner and that I either needed to use the vaccuum to get the baby out, or he would have to leave and another doctor could deliver him. He also made many inappropriate & unprofessional comments during my office visits. I never went back, nor would I ever recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Potruch is an amazing physician! When I was referred to him (9) years ago, I was petrified because I needed major surgery. He eliminated most fears that I had because of his warm bedside manner, and I knew I was in great hands! Because of that experience, I refuse to go to anyone else for my annual gynecological exams!
