Dr Prochada is an example of all that a caring physician should be. I was visiting Estes Park - far away from home - when I started with what turns out to be my first "floater". When the flashing started - and is was VERY scary as this could be a retinal detachment, I called his office at 7:40 am. Janet, his assistant, heard the fear in my voice, and I was given an 8:15 appointment the same day. By 9 am, I had been registered, interviewed, dialated, and examined. He was so compassionate and caring, and taught me everything about my condition. There was no tear, but he told me he would be glad to see me if anything changed. I left much better for having met Dr. Prochada.

Has taken care of my eyes for nearly 10 years. Is very thorough in his exams and will not rush a decision. He explains in detail what he is doing and why and then analyses his findings. Has performed one cataract surgery on me and is waiting for me to indicate when the next surgery is necessary. He will tell me if, for any reason I am delaying too long.
