Dr. Michael Proothi, DDS

I had been miserable for years until I met Dr Proothi. His staff was friendly and helpful from the very first phone call and his attitude has always been to put me and my care first no matter what. His bedside manner is excellent and his attention to my case are unlike any doctor I've had experiences with. His practice manager Jenna, is the same way. I couldn't recommend Dr Proothi's team enough!

This Dentist is a fraud! Rips you off, Over priced! And he tell you you have problems when you don’t just to make money. Keep you coming back spend more monies with his lies! This man should not be in practice! Beware

My husband and I both have been recommended to Dr. Proothi by our prosthodontist Dr. Reuben David. We will be starting our dental work with Dr.Proothi next week! So far he spent his time with us explaining about how he is going to strategically place our implants and what to expect over the next couple of months. I had TMJ pain for 3 years. Finally it became so severe that I was getting electric shocks in my cheek. I couldn't imagine what could cause a pain like that. Dr. Proothi knew what it was and through an out-patient surgery, alleviated that pain over-night. I will be forever grateful!

Everyone in the West Islip office was amazing, the only problem I had was with the receptionist. She was really annoying about the paperwork and called and changed my appointment multiple times, she was pleasant however somewhat rude.

You will not find a more caring doctor. Explains process to you and gives you as much time as you need to discuss procedures.
