Dr. Michael Van Rainer, MD

This man is literally the worst physician I have ever come in contact with hands down. He spoke to me like I was stupid, walked out of the room during conversation, took 5 hours to see him (the er was completely dead, not even busy), and when I questioned him on diagnosis because I also work in emergency medicine, he refused to even remotely consider I might know what I was talking about. You sir, are the reason health care is such garbage. You are the reason people don’t seek medical care any more, and you do not deserve to have the letters MD associated with your name.

Truly a terrible physician. Does not listen and makes assumptions. His goal is to just discharge you even when you're not healed. If you ever get him in the ER, ask for another doc!

Never said anything when he came in the room. As I was explaining my child's symptoms he walked out of the room and did not return for over 30 min. He then came in and wrapped his arm with an ace bandage. When I tried to talk to him he walked out again. One of the nurses finally came in and said he was being released. I had to ask her what this doctors diagnosis was. She said he noted on the chart a sprain and brusing. The next day we were an an orthopedic specialist because my son's arm was not sprained but rather broken!!
