Dr. Michael Anthony Romain, MD

Dr. Romain was my mothers doctor when she was in a nursing home. He never kept me updated on her health or made a point to meet me. She was there 8 1/2 years. My mother passed away on Dec 26, 2018. When it came to her death certificate he waited until Jan 7, 2019 to even attempt doing it. At that time he filled it out, signed it but forgot to date it. He claimed he was having problems with the new program for filing death certificates and couldn't get back into it to date it. I got him to release it on Jan 10th so another Dr. could do it. Within 15 minutes of the release another Dr was able to complete it and file it with no problems. Dr. Romain had no concern for the family. My mother was in a refrigerator for 16 days because of his lack of concern and basically him not doing his job. As someone else said he's more into the money he can make. He can't make money off the dead and therefore you are put on the bottom of his to do list.

Amazing man

Ditto what the others said about this Dr. and nursing homes. He never returns phone calls and you have no way to talk to him. I have no evidence he actually examined my Mother and his staff at the facility was awful. His relationship with the nursing home was, in my opinion, odd.

This person is more interested in the money he makes than in his patients. He refused to discuss options or speak with me. I would strongly recommend that you find a doctor who cares and is interested in his patients.

The office staff was very friendly and professional. Dr. Romain was very though, he took the time to listen.

Dr Romain is extremely knowledgeable speaks in an easy-to-understand manner.
