HOW IS THIS MAN ALLOWED AROUND WOMEN?! REMOVE HIM IMMEDIATELY!

A disgusting human being who clearly hates women. I sincerely hope he never experiences kindness from another woman ever again. Trash in human skin.

NOT SAFE FOR FEMALE/AFAB PATIENTS. This man had to be escorted by security out of a patient's room when the patient had it stated clearly on her chart that she could not be treated by a male provider due to significant prior trauma. He refused to step out of the room or let her speak just to the female NP until he was escorted out. Based on these older reviews that also speak to his arrogance and refusal to listen to patients, and considering the numerous statistics demonstrating worse outcomes for female patients treated by male physicians, it's a wonder to me that any clinic or hospital would hire this man. I sincerely hope he loses his license.

Maybe he should go back to school.. or quit. That would be better.

Absolutely the worst Doctor I have ever encountered. I am shocked that a top hospital such as Mayo Clinic continues to allow this doctor to practice medicine. Rude, arrogant, condescending and disrespectful are just a few words to describe Dr Santiago. My entire family was outraged at the care this doctor provided. He left me with severe ptsd and not wanting to continue to treat my chronic illness any further. If it weren’t for the other 99% of amazing doctors and staff at Mayo Hospital and their assurance he will never step foot in my hospital room again, I would have given up after my encounter with this doctor. He was only my hospitalist for one hospital stay and not one of my Incredible specialists. I hope that anyone who see’s this review understands just how horrible of a man Dr Santiago is.

He was was awful. Hospitalized and he was the hospitality. He did not allow the testing I needed and discharged me had to be rehospitalized. Very rude condescending and not helpful. His way or the highway.

He does not deign to lower himself to speak with female patients. Seems to have a real hatred for women. He trounced in to the hospital room and accused me of taking an illicit drug after I was admitted to the ER because my liver blood work went up and my liver had markers of being compromised. He blew off key tangible facts that were in my chart and dismissed the role any of my other physical health related diagnoses would have on my current symptoms. He showed no care or concern for my well being was totally uncompassionate and when my cardiologist and infectious disease specialist expressed concerns about certain tests that would be relevant to my other medical conditions he made a rude comment saying if they are so worried they can run the test themselves. I was admitted into Mayo Clinic so they are unable to run those key tests now when the information would be relevant. This guy is a my way or the highway guy. It is concerning that someone who doesn’t want to listen to the… patient state symptoms and doesn’t read the patient’s chart is able to make swift sweeping judgments about health. The other staff and doctors at Mayo have been absolutely caring and wonderful but this one is awful. I hope someone takes notice that with his horrendous bedside manner towards what seems to be female patients he is not in keeping with his Hippocratic Oath

Rude, acts as if his opinion is the only one that matters and all other doctors or specialists you've been working with are stupid. Don't dare to ask a question or he will treat you as though you are stupid as well.
