I am going to Dr Setzen for 4 years and I am so THANKFUL for him an his staff. My hearing is much better and I can fly without getting terrible earaches. Thank you !!!

Both my wife and I have been patients of Dr. Setzen for many years and have always found him to be calm, even-tempered and willing to spend the time to fully explain our care. I've personally had two successful surgeries and couldn't be happier with the results and the care I received.

I have been going to to Dr. Setzen for over 15 years. He is the best. He did two hours of sinus surgery and one hour of vocal cord surgery on me with great success. He is an inductee into the 2025 Hall of Distinction by the AAO-HNS, the professional organization of his peers. I recommend him without hesitation. He is also a nice human being.

just now New Nineteen years ago, Dr. Setzen was highly referred to me by another physician when my son had severe hearing loss and speech delay as a result of chronic ear fluid. To this day, every college break, he makes sure he has an appointment to see him. He truly has been amazing with him whether it be 6 sets of ear tubes, adenoids removal, tonsil removal, to resetting his broken nose. During this time, my husband and father in law have also been treated by him. Exactly a week ago, it was my turn. I finally had endoscopic sinus surgery, turbinate reduction surgery, and surgery to repair a severely deviated septum that was impacting my breathing and sleeping daily. I met with Dr. Setzen years ago about this. And just decided to “ deal with it by not dealing”. The night of my surgery, Dr. Setzen told us he’d be calling to check in and indeed he did. In addition to the frequent appointments, there have been daily calls checking in by either Dr. Setzen or Moya. Moya has been… amazing assisting Dr. Setzen during my visits and dealt with all of the scheduling seamlessly. She also made sure all medication was called into the pharmacy prior to surgery so I wouldn’t have to deal with anything. I can honestly say that since the splints are out, I am finally able to breathe through my nose without feeling constantly congested.

Mid January, 2025, I had an operation on my nose. Dr. Setzen successfully straightened out my septum, and straightened out the nose itself that was broken as a result from a fall. I had virtually no pain afterwards, and after two months, the nose is looking just beautiful. Dr. Setzen was in constant touch with me after the operation, answering any questions that I had. Before the operation, I really didn't know what to expect as far as pain and discomfort, but now I can safely say, that I am so glad that I had it done. Dr. Setzen is a very skilled surgeon. It was a very positive experience

I came to Dr Setzen with a deviated septum and a broken nose. He explained to me in detail how surgery would not only straighten out my septum, but operating on the outside of the nose would strengthen the septum and make the over-all appearance look better. There was very little post-op discomfort, handled with some Tylenol and very little swelling. I am now three weeks post-op and I must say, that my nose looks quite good. In addition, by breathing has greatly improved Dr. Setzen is a very skilled surgeon, and is very attentive as well.

I work in the operating room so I’ve seen Dr. Setzen’s work firsthand. He is the most skilled and caring ENT doctor, and many of our coworkers go to him. I had suffered from chronic sinus infections for years. When I finally decided to get sinus surgery, I went to see him first. He pinpointed the problem right away and he said he could help me despite my severe septal deviation. He was always available and kept taking care of me postop until I fully healed. My symptoms are completely resolved after the surgery. I expect my quality of life will be much improved. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Setzen and his team for the wonderful care they’ve taken of me.

Dr. Setzen and his team are amazing ! I could not thank them enough. I wish I knew about Dr. Setzen sooner. During the first visit, I was amazed that they were able to take a CT scan of the sinuses right then and there. I went to see him, because I was having recurrent sinus infections. I needed major sinus surgery and the results have been great ! Dr. Setzen and Moya called to check in to see how I was doing often after surgery- which I found to be very nice. Many doctors do not follow up with their patients often. Although the follow up visits are important and necessary after surgery, Dr. Setzen was gentle while he had to take care of a sensitive area. Moya was amazing and made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process. Will not go to any other ENT other than Dr. Setzen.

Dr. Setzen performed a septoplasty and turbinate procedure, and nine days after my surgery, I was able to fly to Europe. Previously, my breathing had become so blocked, due to a very bad deviated septum, I had difficulty walking due to poor intake of air, which affected my stamina. After the procedure I was able to walk, sightsee, and enjoy my vacation. It has also improved my sleep, since I can fall asleep naturally, and have a solid block of rest. Thank you, Dr. Setzen, for giving me back my quality of life.

Dr.Setzen is an amazing doctor. I had the VIVAER procedure in his office because I was congested very often. The procedure itself was painless but I was a mouth breather the evening of my procedure. I feel great now I can breath so much better. I recommend this procedure and I trust doctor Setzen. Thank you for making my life so much better!
