Dr. Michael Scott Severance, MD

I'm a longtime patient of Dr. Severance and I trust him and his staff to keep me healthy. I never feel rushed and I am always given the attention and health care answers that are right for me. His staff, from the front desk to the nurses, are always professional and courteous. Dr. Severance is patient with me, explains my issues and options, and always has my long-term health in focus. I've often thought of moving out of Jefferson City, but even if I do I will always make the drive back to see Dr. Severance. Dad always taught me, "Son, get a good barber, a good mechanic, a good attorney, a good CPA and good doctors." I have one in Dr. Severance.

The Front desk secretary was unfrendly, and the staff waited till the last minute (day of appointment) to inform me about some charges that I should not be paying since I'm 100% cover under tricare (active duty). Tricare explained her that I shoud not have any out of pocket. She responded "that's our policy". Not a good service to start with.

Dr Severance is a caring dr who takes time with you explains everything down to the tiniest detail makes you feel comfortable jokes a little but is serious when needed great bedside manor doesn't rush you lets you ask all the questions you want and answers them couldn't ask for a better dr I would send my family and friends to him thank you Dr Severance
