Dr Shannon was outstanding, very knowledgeable and caring. Both Dr Shannon and his nurse were very attentive, respectful and helpful

In flight my Mom, Mrs. Coker had a terrifying "episode." Without going into details, the stewardess cried out, "Is there a doctor on board?" Thankfully Dr. Shannon responded. He helped Mom to lay down, propped up her feet, started oxygen & took her pulse, carotid etc. He stayed with us throughout gathering information & caring for Mom while comforting my sister & I. He spoke with the ground crew from the air & paramedics after we landed. We have been so thankful to the Lord that Dr. Shannon was our Angel in time of need. We are also thankful that Mom is fine. (Please make sure Dr. Shannon sees this).

Dr. Shannon is one of the kindest doctors I have ever been fortunate to receive help from...at this point after 10 years ..I see him once yearly to keep an eye on low thyroid levels and manage accordingly..prior to that I had had a brain tumour removed and he managed the aftercare as far as endocrine system was concerned taking over from another retiring Endo Dr. Werrbach at Harbour View...Dr.Shannon truly cares about his patients...he is attentive and genuinely concerned with any health issues..he is also a GP..I just love him ..so easy to communicate with and always there for me and I am sure others ... I can't say enough good things about this dear soul...he has a depth of caring that is so obvious and that in of itself sets him apart from and way above most doctors in this modern fast paced world. My appointments are only 15mins but they feel like an hour..he LISTENS and responds accordingly..in comparison to my regular MD whom I can be with for 40 minutes and never feel like he is… even present, let alone respond to my needs or questions....he is a replacement for my old doc in the regular clinic..bummer..

Dr Shannon is a very nice man and I'm sure very competent. I had no complaint about him although I only saw him once and I have been going to this office for at least 2 or 3 yrs. However , I have only seen his helper, Kaitlin, since the 1st visit. But last time when I went in I was a thrown off that I had been diagnosed with a autoimmune disease 6 months earlier and no one told me. They assumed I looked at a online message board (that I never used) and no effort was made to inform me about the results of the test. When I sent a online message asking a question after this visit I received a very curt reply from the P.A. Then the pharmacist and other people I talked to said I would go back in 2 to 3 months to be re-evaluated after starting medication. But several weeks later I got a letter saying to call and make an appointment for 6 months. I know my condition is not as serious or complicated as most others but to me it is important and I feel as if I am being pigeonholed. If my… medication may need adjustment in 3 months until we find the correct level and it may help me feel better why should I wait 6 months? I want to get things to be optimal, not just good enough and I am really put off by the lack of follow through and the responses to my questions after an upsetting diagnosis and the lack of information about the condition and medications at the appointment.

Best endocrinologist I have ever seen.

Not a doctor that listens or even really seems to care about your symptoms. Had hoped for much better. Not someone to see if you are trying to educate yourself.

High energy, rapid thought process, fast talker, genuine caring individual. If any of that doe not appeal to you then choose another doc. He is great.

Dr. Shannon is an Amazing doctor. I started seeing him in 2011 as a pregnant diabetic. He was very helpful, thorough and made me feel very confident in the health of my baby throughout the pregnancy. I have NEVER felt rushed or confused as he always is more than happy to Explain what is going on to me. He was on a family vacation in Hawaii when I delivered (my absolutely amazingly healthy) son and he called the hospital And spoke with my husband to make sure I was alright. If that's not an amazing caring doctor I don't know what is!

Dr Shannon is a very knowledgeable physician, however very arrogant. I always felt rushed and confused when leaving his office. Most of the information he provided me with was inappropriate or irrelevant. I would leave several messages without return calls from support staff. I switched doctors after 3 visits. Dr. Shannon is not for me.
