Dr. Michael Simms Shuler, MD

Dr. Schuler has been my doctor for both injuries and ongoing dupuytren’s contracture. The injections and treatment for dupuytren’s are painful, but he usually makes me laugh and takes my mind off the procedure. I appreciate his ability to make it go quicker and easier than I am expecting. Wendy and Sandy, his nurses are wonderful!

Dr. Shuler was awesome, friendly and very detailed . I would highly recommend him and I would definitely go back and see him. Also all of the staff are amazing

He listened to my concerns, took the time to explain things clearly. All around great experience.

My wife was told to be at the clinic at 10 am for carpal tunnel surgery. We left home at 8 am to be sure to get there on time as we don't live close to the clinic. She was not wheeled into surgery until 3 pm. I'm guessing that the actual surgery was scheduled for 11 am although we were not told that. No explanation given for a four-hour delay and no real apology. I appreciate that unforeseen circumstances can cause a surgeon to run behind, but four hours? I'm tired of patients being taken for granted.

I rarely give 5s, but this appointment was like the ones with my knee replacement in Madison, and the PT in Greensboro, it was great. The wait time was minimal and everything went smoothly! I really like Dr Shuler and he was very good and thorough. I would definitely refer friends to AOC!!!

I love my doctor. He’s always honest and prompt about everything and he’s straight to the point. I did wait a longer than usual to see him this time but I know things happens sometimes and we have to be patient. Overall, my visit went as usual.

The appointment was on time and the wait minimal. The entire staff was courteous and professional. I will recommend Dr Shuler to anyone in need of hand treatment or surgery

excellent doctor worked at AOC for years and I know for a fact he takes excellent care of his patients. Any hand issues Dr Shuler is the one to see. Would not trust any other hand surgeon. Thank you Dr. Shuler for fixing me.

Dr. Shuler and his entire staff are absolutely awesome. Everyone is respectful of your time, friendly and professional. I've only been put under anesthesia once in my life to have wisdom teeth removed and that was 20 years ago. I was tired of dealing with pain but extremely nervous and scared of my carpal and cubital tunnel procedures. I was so tempted to walk out while sitting in the chair getting prepped for surgery but the stress and anxiety were all for nothing. Everyone was so excellent! I'm now healing and progressing well and looking forward to no pain during normal activities such as cutting grass, writing, etc! I no longer sleep with my hand and wrist splints and wake up in the mornings with no discomfort.

Was very compassionate and new exactly what was going on with wrist and elbow pain. Had surgery was a very quick recovery.
