Two weeks post L4-L5 L5-S1 discsectomy, I could not have asked for better treatment than Citrus Orthopedic staff and Dr. Silverstein provided. They were always very kind and professional. They did there best to provide treatment in a timely manner and minimize wait time. Two weeks post surgery and I have no concerns. Of course still in the healing process, but my pain has already eased tremendously and I have no regrets deciding to undergo the surgery.

When I made an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon I expected him to make a brief appearance but that did not happen. Not pleased.

Dr. Silverstein is an excellent doctor. This was my first major surgery. He made me feel very comfortable. He explained everything that was going to be done , so that I understood it. He answered all of my husband and my questions. I am so glad that he was there for me. He treated me just like family. Thank you

Just 2 weeks after surgery on my L4 and L4 I am almost completely pain free. I am walking daily without a walker or cane. Dr. Silverstein and his staff are very professional and reassuring. I felt completely comfortable going into surgery knowing all of my questions were answered and that he was completely knowledgeable. My trust was placed in the right person. Three months ago, Dr. Silverstein performed my microdiscectomy L4-L5 surgery. I am so excited and pleased to say that his skill and expertise have given me my life back which I honestly thought was impossible. Prior to surgery, I struggled to walk due to suffering from excruciating sciatic nerve pain and numbness down my left leg which seemingly caused incontinence, a numb left foot, and constant lower back pain. Today, eight months after being severely injured in an auto accident, I am walking several miles a day and recovering well. I had a herniation at L5-S1 that was causing me indescribable pain. Dr. Silverstein, from my initial visit, had incredible bed side manner and worked swiftly to make sure I had the surgery needed. He is trained with the latest in minimally invasive surgery, and I could not believe how much better I was, and how quick, after surgery. He left me with only a small scar, but a huge amount of gratitude. I am writing this review 3 weeks post surgery for a spinal Laminectomy at L3, 4, and 5. I have suffered with lower back issues since initially injuring my in the military in the 1980’s. During my 24 year military career I served in a medical capacity on board ships alongside the United States Marine Corps where I injured my back over and over. Over the last two years my quality of life, mobility, and pain level has resulted in acute numbness and caused me to consider lower back surgery, even though the results can be mixed. I was always told it’s a last resort. I have had 14 operations,including a neck fusion. Influenced by my military background and training, I am a strong end user regarding my health and how to choose the best healthcare options for a positive outcome.
