We have gone to Dr. Skyhar many times with my husband and I both having rotator cuff surgeries, meniscus tear repair of the knee, plus Hyalgan injections of both knees. Dr. Skyhar is the best! He is a caring, knowledgeable, and excellent surgeon!

Dr. Skyhar came highly recommended to me by both my dentist, who had Dr. Skyhar as his surgeon, and my physical therapist. I had an extremely complicated surgery repair on three of the four rotator cuff tendons and 1 of the two bicep tendons. At my first post-op appointment, I received a three-page typed description of exactly what was done and how AND a thumb drive video of my arthroscopic surgery. Answers all questions. Excellent follow-up care! I cannot recommend him enough!

Really knows his stuff. Tells it like it is and explains in great detail what’s wrong and best way to deal with the problem. If surgery not your best option, he’ll let you know and tell you honestly best way to proceed. If you have an orthopedic issue, you couldn’t do any better. Really a lucky find for me.

Over the years, I have had three surgeries by Dr. Skyhar. I am about to undergo another. I cannot put into words how impressed I have been with his medical knowledge and surgical expertise. I thought he had retired and would have to let a different doctor take care of me. I'm actually looking forward to the surgery.

Shoulder pain for years and getting worse. Referred to Dr. Skyhar. My first meeting was today. Office staff very nice. Dr. Skyhar took the time to show to me the MRI results and explained in terms that I could understand, what was going on with my shoulder. Surgery is scheduled, recovery will be long but worth it. It's my right shoulder and I work in a elementary classroom and play flute in a local orchestra.

There are 4 parts of the body he specifically does surgery on. Dr. Skyhar has operated on 3 of mine out of the 4 possible. I would let him do the fourth or recommend him to anyone. He is a very fine surgeon with a kind bedside manner. This Doc does Rock..
