Dr. Michael Stanek

I have seen him only once thus far, but my initial impressions are that he is experienced, compassionate, respectful, and that I am in good hands. We are still narrowing in on a diagnoses.

Women at the greeting desk are not friendly. Sour puss and never smile. Should be replaced.

I am writing this review for my parent who is no longer here. I feel through my own experience with this office they have a lot of work to accomplish. It starts from the top down. I do not live in Arizona and had on many occasions tried to talk to this office about my parents' condition with no call back from doctor or never having any answers when I spoke to his nursing staff. As I had the opportunity to take my parent to many of his appointments and meet Dr. Stanek I was not impressed with his bed side manner and he was not willing to listen to our concerns or opinions. He was in the "drivers seat". Ironically my parent passed and his office didn't even bother to call to see how he was doing after he was hospitalized. I would not recommend him nor this office, drive a little further to get better care.

My husband went to Dr. Stanek for a a monthly treatment while we were in Arizona for the winter months. Dr. Stanek discovered that my husband was in complete bone marrow failure. Without Dr. Stanek, I would have lost my husband. His treatment saved my husband's life. Thanks to his dedicated care, experience with bone marrow patients and willingness to treat a new patient, my husband has had the opportunity to have a bone marrow transplant. We owe everything to Dr. Stanek!

I have been very impressed with the whole clinic over the last year and am thankful the doctor was able to detect the problem.

Dr Stanek is a smart smart dr.He always has a plan and is confident that he can cure your cancer. He doesnt let you suffer in pain. he makes sure you have all the medication you need, and reminds you not to run out on a weekend.He also includes his personnel cell number on his business cards. he is a great doctor Highly recommended. Im a 41 y old male with rectal stage 3 cancer patient with other problems as well and he is making sure that we address them all he cares and i wish i could keep him as my pcp
