I had a total hip replacement 6 weeks ago. I had lot's of anxiety but Dr Sumko and his entire team are the best. Everything went so smoothl!! I had surgery at 7:AM and home by 3:PM. I've had minimal pain and recovery has gone well. I definitely will be recommending Dr Sumko to all my Friends and family.

I am two months out from my second knee replacement surgery and seven months out from my first. Dr. Sumko did both. I AM EXTREMELY PLEASED!! Both knees are doing well. My recovery was faster and less painful than I expected. Scaring is minimal. Thorough and informative, both Dr. Sumko and his PA Drew Lambourne, made me feel confident, were personable, and most importantly - skilled. I high recommend them and their method of surgery!

On May 6, 2019 Dr. Sumko performed a total knee replacement on my right knee. The immediate results were great. However, after a while I experienced knee pain and discussed it with Dr. Sumko. He did nothing tangible to fix the pain and attributed it to a back problem. Today, a little more the a year and a half later, my knee is worse than before the replacement, and the pain is a specific localized pain at the kneecap area where the surgical scar is located. Based on the lack of adequate follow up, I would not recommend him for knee surgery.

I am so grateful to Dr. Sumko and his PA Drew for their expertise and care in regard to my recent hip replacement. I’ve had other surgeries over the years but this was undoubtedly the best experience ever. Suffering from osteoarthritis in both hips, I booked and received my new left hip within a few weeks of the initial office visit. My recovery was amazing and virtually pain free. I have scheduled my other hip replacement for 3 months post-surgery as recommended by Dr. Sumko. I am eagerly looking forward to the upcoming holidays without the debilitating pain of osteoarthritis. I truly have a new lease on life!!!
