A work injury is difficult. Not choosing your own doctor and being happy with the first doctor my job gave me and then switched to another was more difficult still. I wrote a review when I was struggling that I need to address. I got the testing I needed and good care. I wasn't put back into full duty too soon. The doctor cared about me and my health. I feel like he worked with my workplace to improve conditions that effect all. I am grateful for that. To get to the doctor's office, you walk through an urgent care that is not part of his clinic. The urgent care was not as tidy as your would expect but Dr. Szewczyk's office was fine. I had written that the office was not clean but at that time I didn't realize it was two different offices. Please disregard the review written earlier. I appreciate the help I received from Dr. Szewczyk and am thrilled to be back teaching again.

After the school district had me go to another doctor who was helping injuries from a violent student I got a late night call that my next appoint ment was switched to this doctor. His office was empty and filthy. The work comp nurse the insurance company sent to watch was his friend of many years. I was not given medical care. I will report this to the medical board.

This idiot should have his license revoked! he is not only not very thorough but his office staff rude and rough! Most unprofessional, unhelpful, and uncaring Dr's ive ever visited. And i am currently employed by largest hospital in city. Avoid these idiots and theyre attempts at practicing medicine at all costs. This is a workmans comp doctor only intetested in his true beneficiaries employers and the states workmans comp agency. Laughable integrity,bedside manor and obviously experience. Get a second opinion and lawyer up. Hit this quack where his heart is his wallet!

I was misdiagnosed by Dr. Szewczyk after being sent to his office for a work related injury. Once I had a second opinion, unfortunately, the opportunity for surgical repair was lost, as I had followed up with this office for a second visit - then sought second opinion. Be careful. I now have permanent injury due to his loyalty to the workman's' comp. company and his lack of practicing medicine within his own boundaries.

dOES NOT WASH HIS HANDS BETWEEN APPOINTMENTS - bECAUSE HE "doesn't see pain" he doesn't think I have pain???? I slipped on ice and my knee ended under me... I have pain when I stand/walk or twist my need (weight bearing) not very sore to the touch... because he can touch my knee and I don't scream with pain he thinks I have no pain... he perscribed a "CANE"... not any brace or other support for my knee... I asked for a MRI to see if I have soft tissue damage since I hurt mostly when I' walking/standing on my leg... Bedside manior is very Condescending...
