Frank J. Zidar, M.D. comes to Austin from North Carolina. After completing his undergraduate degree at Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, he received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical school in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Post-graduate training began with an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Michigan Health System, where he spent an additional year as Chief Medical Resident. This was follow by a Cardiology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Zidar then completed a second fellowship at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina specializing in coronary, carotid and peripheral arterial interventions. Dr. Zidar is American Board of Internal Medicine certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He serves the Central Austin area and is a member of the following organizations: the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, the Travis County Medical Society, American …College of Cardiology and the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.

Dr Teneriello saved my life! He is a straight talker, will not sugar coat your case. If you need that more than your life saved, he is not the Dr for you. But If you want to live he will give you the best chance. Thank you Dr Teneriello and staff I am happy to say I am now diagnosed as NED. And am enjoying my grandchildren every chance I get!

I was beyond blessed to have Dr. T treat me during my cancer journey. After my treatment ended, I moved out of state to be closer to my family - if I had stayed in Austin, I would have continued care with Dr. T and his amazing team at Balcones. Dr. T referred me to an excellent oncologist here in CA, but it's just not the same. I miss my "team" at T.O. Balcones. It is scary to receive this diagnosis & then the search for the "right" doctor, I was so very fortunate that I ended up with Dr. T!

Dr. Teneriello is a wonderful doctor. He is kind and he really knows what is going on when it comes to my health issues. (He reminds me of my Dad...and that is a good thing.) I feel so fortunate that when I came to Texas from Caliornia Dr. Teneriello was here for me. Thanks you so much.

Dr. T is my angel. I've been seeing him since 2002 when I was diagnosed with cancer. I love this doctor and I wouldn't change him for nothing. God Bless Dr. T and his staff. They are all wonderful.

When my doctor diagnosed uterine cancer, she referred me to Dr. T who she said was the best. After the first visit I had to agree. He and the staff are great. Surgery was set, but they found a heart problem on the testing before surgery and I had to have a heart stent first. After that I had robot surgery and all went well. That surgery was amazing, I went home the next day and never had to use the pain pills. I am grateful for everything, the heart surgery and cancer cure. I feel great.

Now 8 years cancer free after cervix cancer. I had surgery, chemo and radiation. All my thanks to Dr. T. Great doc, very thorough, great staff.

I have been a patient for 6 years and this doc is top notch. I have had several operations for cancer over the years and seen many doctors who speak very highly of him. He's known as one of the top surgeons in TX and I know from experience.
