Dr. Michael Christopher Tompkins, MD

I have seen Dr. Tompkins several times before & he came in & introduced himself as if I were a new patient!!! I was shocked. He was also running quite a bit behind, but I feel like it’s because his unkind assistant/CNR or whatever her tile is was so rude and unfriendly. She left the door open & spoke loudly to me as if I were a child – where everyone in the hallway & in their office area could hear. So unprofessional, she truly acted like she hated her job. I wish I knew her name, but I will find out. You know sometimes it’s not what people say – it is how they say it! I have been a patient at (TOC) now TOA since 1995 and have always had a really good or great experience. “She” set the stage for it to be a very unpleasant visit. This just did not seem like Dr. Tompkins – but maybe I am wrong, an assistant can truly ruin your visit with the doctor. It will be SO nice when Devon/ PAC returns, she is always so helpful and kind. This is not the kind of review you want on Google, Facebook,… or here!

He was very considerate and kind. His staff is awesome. I wiuld tell evetyone to go to him.

Wait time was minimal. Dr Tomkins was professional and knowledgeable about my broken ankle and what was required for its repair. Arranged surgery quickly with minimal trouble. Assistant techs were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Overall very well done.

Dr.Tompkins is a wonderful Dr. He is very thorough and explains everything in detail. He takes time to make sure all my concerns are addressed and I highly recommend him.

Great Doctor…He gets right to your problem and you not only feel he cares but you are relieved after leaving the office…I highly recommend and will recommend him to my friends and other!

OR IF: Dr Tompkins is kind of reserved. Not a doctor of many words. Straight and to the point, but relaxed at the same time. He was very considerate of my ankle tattoo and I am certain that my scar is going to be quite thin and will go through the thinnest part my my tattoo. We did not discuss this, he was considerate of this on his own. The rate of healing post surgery as opposed to the week before surgery was exponential. He has been conscious to not overload me with too much at once and simply goes over the next steps in detail, but will give a lighter summary of what's next

When I first went to him I thought he was just going to be in and out of the room but he listened to what the problem was and did X-rays..then he proceeded to schedule surgery to do a partial amputation of my toe...he was awesome.i was surprised but he was so caring and actually the recovery time was not that long..I can't say enough about this awesome Dr...

Every visit with Dr. Tompkins was meaningful and weighted with true measure and merit. The time line given to me about my surgery and rehab was precise. Couldn’t have had a better experience or better doctor. Thanks Doc
