Dr Vender was very good He addressed my concerns and questions effectively and efficiently. Helen was also very helpful and polite. I would say that my experience when checking in with the front desk was not very warm or welcoming. I was limping because of a leg injury and when I approached the front desk the immediate question was, what insurance I have. I had gone over all of that the day before over the phone with someone so I was surprised to have it asked again. In addition I had to fill out many pages of forms ( with a fractured wrist) before I saw an admitting nurse and the Dr. I could have completed these online at home. When I went into the “ therapy” section I was once again asked about insurance. My opinion? I understand the need to make sure patients have the necessary insurance, I just don’t think it needs to be so “ in your face”. That aside the care and instructions about home care were excellent

Dr. Vendor is a caring professional He and his staff are efficient and courteous. He quickly diagnosed both me and my wife's problems. I had surgery which went very well.

Dr Vendor was very very professional and considerate of my 90 year old mother. He listened to her trigger fingers and carpal tunnel issues and operated and fixed her hands up in a timely manner. We recommend Dr Vendor very highly.

He was very helpful and kind, knew exactly what was wrong with my hand/thumb without a lot of back and forth! He also gave me two options ti choose from to start healing.

Doctor Vendor performed Trigger Finger and Carpel tunnel. He did an excellent job on both. Always looking help to with problems you have!

Dr. Vender, Without giving explicit details. Dr Vender was recommended by my GP for a trigger finger release: “the simplest procedure we do”. After multiple follow up visits, Physical therapy and an additional injection. My hand has never been in worse shape. It is painful where it never was before. I have lost almost all mobility in that finger. Dr Venders comment was “I wish I could do something for you”. He is without a doubt the most inept doctor I have ever seen. He may have been a good surgeon at one time. You would think that he would at least care about his patients but he does not. It seems he is all about the money. He should retire.

First stated confidently I had nerve or ligament damage after about 30 minutes of 20lb sledgehammer use at work. Then pressure from ins company he switched to giving me a steroid shot in just one wrist, and said "I don't care about the other hand". Which is what the ins company wanted since I had an old injury in the rt wrist 8 years previously. I had fully recovered from the earlier injury years ago. While giving me a steroid shot to just the rt wrist to shoo me out the door, a nurse walks in and kicks the Drs chair when he had the needle in my wrist. Later when he did a surgery to just the rt wrist I went back after a few days because of a lot of oozing from the stitches. They gave me some antibiotics and a release to full duty, with 9 stitches in my palm just a few days old! When it came time for stitches to be removed, I had to help the young nurse remove them as her hands were shaking badly from 2 large strong cups of coffee which were her first ever. A lot of turnover the year… and a half I went here. The surgery left that dominant hand with less grip strength than my non-dominant hand and did nothing for continued symptoms in both my hands and going up both my arms. Pain, zaps of pain like electric shocks in hands down into fingers, tingling at times. Weak, numb, painful aches in forearms going up towards shoulders with any use like driving and such. I asked if he wanted me to mark up my hands and arms with a sharpie where the symptoms were to help him get things solved. He said NO. For my next and what ended up being my last visit I did it anyway also providing pictures of my marked up hands and arms. He was not happy. Told me he was sorry, and told me I was welcome to go somewhere else. He would NOT refer me to anyone else. After going here I was getting increased info that Dr Vender is an "Insurance Dr." In going to other Drs I learned the causes of the problems were up in the neck instead. This took anpthet year and a half. His official statement was that my condition was to the rt hand only and were resolved by what he did. Nothing could be further from the truth. His statement made it difficult to get other Drs to look any further, wasting lots of time that went out almost 3 years once I got away from just hand and arm Drs. This wasted lots and lots of time, at considerable expense to me. I would not refer anyone to Dr Vender or Hand to Shoulder Associates.
