Dr. Michael T. Walsh, MD

I had surgery to remove a disc in my neck from dr. Walsh at LAke Forest Hospital. The hospital staff treated me like a queen, and best of all, were very quiet in the hallways at night which aloud me to sleep well through the night - very important! Dr. walsh's expertise gave me a new start at life; my legs are no longer wobbly, the intense pain in my neck, shoulders, and down my left arm are virtually gone, and I've got a new outlook on my future health. Bravo, Doctor!

He is an excellent doctor and I'm grateful for him. He clipped an aneurysm for me and I feel I've done great.

Stay away! No after care! Wife had major brain surgery, in a coma for 4 days and 20 plus hours of surgery and the after care is absolutely horrible. His nurse Norna - is the rudest nurse I've have ever dealt with. Use another Dr. All they want to do is operate and collect the money and leave you with living in pain - 2 months after major brain surgery. Totally unbelievable!

I ould never recommend this practice. One, the PN tells you one thing then four weeks later talks to doctor. Which he could not remember everything he said to me. Also the nurse Norma is the most rudest person for that position. She tells you one thing and doesnt do it even though it was phone recorded during my conversation. Never even met doctor Walsh at all, but he made decisions without even talking to the doctor who spoke to me and gave me hope then put me back on an emotional roller coaster. They do not follow through with their patients.

He did successful major back surgery on me. He is all business, very professional. He and his staff are Christians and will pray with you. I trust him.

Dr. Walsh is one amazing man! He successfully removed a very large growth from my daughters brain, and afterwards would stand by her bed and watch her recover. Such professionalism, dedication and concern were touching and put us at ease. This man is a gift from God. His follow ups were informative and set a fire under her to work hard to return to her former self! I loved the way he pointed out that the scar was his way of saying Dr. Walsh was here!!!! Good job sir!!!

I had , and I am so pleased to say had, Trigeminal neuralgia right side of my face, we all know the pain. Dr. Walsh saw the nerve issue from an MRI and had confidence the surgery would help, not only did it help immediately, it cured me. When micro vascular decompression is an option and Dr. Walsh is holding the knife, all I can say is do it. I was clear on the procedure and what to expect during recovery before I left that office. Now his office and staff are very busy so go with patients and consideration for others. I thank God daily for this path of healing, and I thank God to be pain free ! I pray for those who don't have insurance and don't have this opportunity. I have been there too...

Dr Walsh is excellent he has helped me....I can't say enough about him ..so blessed to have him for my surgeon. ..
