Dr. Michael Joseph Ward, MD

Very pleased with all personnel in the office.

Vision care has been a life-long priority. Maintaining the best eye health has been my goal in light of a family member’s experience with retinal detachment. Dr. Michael Ward has been the provider of excellent care in this regard including needed repairs prior to cataract surgery. Annual comprehensive appointments also are highly valued.

Dr Ward and his staff were great.

Dr Ward is the best. I highly recommend him to anyone. I just had a tear in my retina and he explained what it was, how to fix it and what to expect afterward. The office is a well oiled machine. I am always impressed by how they all work together.

I find Dr. Ward a superb doctor, very caring and kind. I have never waited for any time and I have bee n to see him 13 TIMES!

Gave absolutely no information as to post treatment care of an unscheduled laser retinal procedure. Never clearly defined diagnosis for condition initially requested, as well as no follow up for surgical procedure. Problems related to post op condition of affected retina were not addressed by Ward specifically and took 2 days to get a useless nonspecific response. NEVER AGAIN!

First: Dr. Ward provided great care once in the exam room, it is without question that he is an excellent doctor. But...our Preemie Infant that was released from the NICU less than a week prior, we were told to go see Dr. Ward for a follow up. We were kept in the waiting room for 1 hour & 45 minutes beyond our appointment time, to which we arrived 10 minutes early. No update on the wait, no offer to reschedule, just left sitting there with a child that was getting hungrier and more agitated as the time passed. Preemies should never be out in public unless medically necessary, so waiting almost 2 hours in a waiting room filled with germs and the general public seems almost counterproductive. I understand that appointment times are not exact, and doctors fall behind, but keeping an infant with a compromised immune system waiting for almost 2 hours falls well below the level of professionalism expected from an office that is recommended by a level 3 NICU.
