Dr. Michael Barry Wax, MD

I was extremely disappointed in Dr. Wax's flagrant lack of empathy and compassion when delivering some difficult info about the status of my illness which had progressed to a terminal level. He seemed more rushed and abrupt than ever before and barely acknowledged my husband whom he had never met . I chose Dr. Wax because he was described as clinically astute and kind by my primary care MD. There was no evidence of the latter during my recent visit. I left with many unanswered questions including whether I should find a different oncologist, not exactly what you want to deal with on top of everything else following news of a very poor prognosis

Dr Wax is recognised as a true medical hero who has saved countless lives with his innate ability to diagnose difficult medical conditions, devise a succussful approach toward treatment and work tirelessly with the patient until the problem is resolved
