Dr. Michael Ivan Weiss, MD

Wait time was horrible, each appointment I had to wait an hour to go to the back than another hour to be seen by the doctor. He came in & was very brief like literally in there for 3 minutes tops doing a pap, he didn’t introduce his self plus he give me the wrong due date the ultrasound technician had to correct him for his mistake.

I chose him as my doctor when I found out I was expecting. At first, I had no issue with the practice. The staff was kind and courteous. But once I started having issues, they were not being addressed. My blood pressure was high and he literally did nothing about it. He spent no time at all talking to me or my husband and seemed uninterested in hearing my questions or concerns. I would never recommend him to ANYONE. Hopefully the ladies working there can find a better doctor to work with, because he is awful. Once I switched doctors, I found out I had gestational hypertension and was put on strict bed rest immediately. Dr. Weiss would have never caught that (or cared) and would have put my baby's life in danger.

At my follow-up exam all OB-GYN M. Weiss took time for was asking for my general health feedback to record notes. He or his nurse never asked me to disrobe for a vaginal or uterine exam. Three months after delivering our baby girl I was told by another OB-GYN that I have a large polyp on my uterine lining that he probably would have detected. From our experience he’s more interested in taking notes on his tablet than conducting an exam. At this & another app’t. we waited > 50 mins. for him & he offered no apologies. His gruff, unprofessional tone replies to ?s was unexpected. You & we deserved better & wish we had another opportunity to complete his care survey the hospital sent. We’d. give him 1/2 star which he’d surely laugh off with his gruff attitude.

Doctor Weiss delivered my daughter and numerous family members. Never a bad comment or experience ever. Cant wait until I start my care with him this pregnancy.

Ive been a patient of dr Weiss for two years, never has too many complaints until I got pregnant. Anytime i would called with a new situation during my pregnancy (which was rare) i would get nothing in return, it was always a simple "theres nothing i can do for you". I broke out horribly post pregnancy due to pain medication prescribed to me after c-section, I came back in to see dr weiss for him to tell me "hes not a dermatologist, he can do nothing about it" I will never choose this doctor again for any of my pregnancies!!! If your comfortable with horrible bedside manner, then hes the doc for you!!

I am very happy with Dr. Weiss and all of his staff. 5 stars!

I have been seeing dr Weiss for about 4 years and he was grate in the beginning now that I am pregnant he has done a complete 180! I am about 8 months now and have finally switched Dr's. Problem # 1, every time I call his office all I get is a busy tone. It literally takes me calling about 20x before it actually rings. # 2, Dr Weiss diagnosed me with GD and that's it! did not discuss a diet plan, did not give any advice what so ever, did not tell me if the GD problem was being too low or too high, it took his office over 2 weeks before they even prescribed me a meter to check my sugar myself. # 3, I have had severe swelling and all signs of preeclampsia and he has not even looked at my feet after I told him numerous times. # 4, I asked him if he could write me a note to work part time instead of full time because I have had bad back and sciatic problems AND HE LAUGHED! Said there was nothing he could do! How insensitive can you be working in this profession? I was so mad and upset… and wanted to slap him in the face. I would rather wait 2 hours for my ob appointment at premiere community health care than see Dr Weiss again.

I have been seeing Dr. Weiss since I was 17 yrs old after my first child. He has taken care of me while pregnant with my second and am now pregnant with my third. His staff has a great attitude and he is very informative when asked questions. I don’t go to him thinking I’m going to have a full on conversation with him. He comes in does what he needs to do. Asks if I have any questions answers them and then let’s the nurse go on to do her job. I’ve read some reviews about going to another doctor for a second opinion on issues and that’s exactly what your going to get a second opinion. All doctors are human beings and are different in their own ways. All treatment plans will be different no matter which doctor you choose. I give Dr. Weiss and his staff a 5 start rating because I get what I need when I visit him. Nothing more nothing less.

I was there last Wednesday for s zD&C. I was a little scared. The hospital team there made me feel very comfortable Dr. Weiss was wonderful. I will stick with him
