Dr. Michael Warren Woods, MD

I have had 9 back surgeries. Doc. Woods was done three of them. I wish he would of done all of them. He is the best at what he does. The three that he did has worked great.

Was so personable and made me feel comfortable right away. Performed surgery and I am back to my full life!

This review is actually about Elizabeth at the reception desk. There was a mixup about the date of an appointment and it was VERY important that the meeting with Dr. Woods happen on a specific date. Elizabeth did her magic and the meeting happened. Always happy with the care from Dr. Woods.

I would recommend this doctor. He really took the time with me to figure out my back pain, and he listened to my needs.

Dr. Woods is a kind and caring physicians. I had back pain and he recommended conservative treatment rather then just operating on me like some would do. I have been doing well now for over a year. Don't believe every post you read because some people are just miserable, hateful and unrealistic. I felt Dr. Woods at my best interest in mind when making my diagnosis.

I was told I would not need fusions for my back surgery. I had severe stenosis in several vertebrae. Before the surgery I could walk (albeit not well) and drive. Several months after surgery I am still unable to walk without a walker, I experience sudden falls without warning. I agree with the review of the person who says "do not let this doctor operate on your back." In fact, I may need a second surgery to correct impingement that causes the sudden falls. I have been to other surgeons about this problem.

KNOW OF MORE THAN ONE PERSON WHO HAS REHERNIATED THERE DISCS AFTER HAVING BACK SURGERY BY DR. WOODS. IF YOU WANT BACK SURGERY GO TO A NEUROSURGEON NOT DR. WOODS

Dr. Woods seemed to have little patience for me after I did not respond to "traditional" surgery. Nor did he seem to have any suggestions about what I could do.
