In 1982 I badly broke both hands, both wrists and both arms. Other docs said I could never be a carpenter again, that I was basically crippled. Dr. Rickard put me back together and the years that follow have proven him right about the ongoing outlook. I never got to thank you in person, but I have always felt thankful, Dr Rickard.

Not too happy with the surgery. The fusion failed and I had to have the entire operation re-done at another clinic. Cost me $4000 with no positive result.

this DR. knows his stuff. he came up with an accurate diagnosis, other non specialist docs missed.

We met Dr. Rickard in 1978 in Los Angeles. My son had a severe hand injury and he was only 6 years old. Dr. Rickard "pieced" my son's hand back together through a series of surgeries that spanned over 6 years. My son is now 42 years old and can use his hand with just the slightest of difficulties. He has no extreme impairments and is not limited in any activities due to his accident. We still live in California, yet my daughter lives in Montana.and we spend our summers there 50 miles from Missoula. I am going to revisit Dr. Rickard as I have extensive dupuytrens disease and have had very unsatisfactory dealings with the hand specialists in my area to include Lost Angeles. I already visited him a few years ago when this disease began. He instructed me to come back when I could stay longer in Montana and he could take care of my problem. I can only hope that he does as well with my hand as he did our son's 35 years ago.
