Dr. Michael Edward Yencho

We absolutely love Dr. Yencho. His thoroughness and ability to have real dialogue (in terms I understand) with not only myself, but my nephew is excellent. We've never had an issue with the office staff at the Hebron location. The ladies there have always been friendly, personable, and always willing to help.

Dr. Yencho a is an excellent Pediatric Doctor who meets all of my expectations. My son has been seeing Dr. Yencho's since he was 2.5 and I appreciate Dr. Yencho being extremely thorough during visits, being blunt and factual with my son who respects him, especially when it comes time for a shot. Dr. Yencho covers all the bases and answers most of my questions before they even come up. My son is 4.5 now and was born with a CHD which was fully repaired as an infant. My son also sees a Cardiologist at CCMC annually. I have confidence in Dr. Yencho's ability to take care of all of my son's medical needs without any hesitation. I am extremely particular about my son's care for obvious reasons and have left other local Pediatric offices based on the poor demeanor of the DR alone. I highly recommend Dr. Yencho to other parents looking for a great local Pediatric Doctor. I have read other reviews about the office staff and I personally have had a wonderful experience with all of… the staff in his office, especially Roxy. I feel that parents who write negative reviews need to understand that a Dr.'s office is a business and they have processes and policies to follow just like any other business. Pay your bill, make the recommended appointments and focus on the care that is being delivered when writing/reading reviews.

My family has used Dr. Yencho as our pediatrician for 17 years. His knowledge, straight forward manner, thoroughness and kindness are why we have stayed with him even when he had changed practices. Sadly, his most recent change has been to join the practice of Dr. Ram in Hebron. Dr. Ram's staff is rude, uncompassionate and the desire for money drives them SO much that it is clear where Dr. Ram's mindset is. They have been willing to let my sons medications run out several times by refusing to see him for less than a $100 balance, and will even require my son to see them twice in a 3 month period so that they can glean 2 copays out of me instead of 1 by telling me that if I wanted both of his prescriptions filled I would need to bring him in for 2 separate office visits. Most recently, they lectured me about inconveniencing them by changing pharmacies. "We are going to have to change everything in the computer now, you know!" I am sadly changing doctors due to the awful staff that I… need to get through so that I can have this amazing doctor care for my children.
