Dr. Michael Zourabian, MD

3 years ago I had a wonderful obstetrician refer me to a general practice physician such as Dr. Zourabian. I decided to change my med group so i can see him, I made a first initial visit where I told him that I have been a hairdresser for 20years and i have sever pain in my feet, he glanced at my feet for 3 seconds and blamed it on my weight. nothing came from that visit, I asked him to refer me for a thyroid exam from which he said that he will send the order in that day. The next day I show up and they did not receive the request. This was very unfortunate because i don't have a lot of spare time due to the fact that i have an autistic 3 year old. I decided to return 5months later, this time for a sciatic nerve, and severe tendonitis in my back, he takes one look at me from his chair and says that it will all go away if I lost weight (I am 60lbs over weight and am in good health) I then ask him to refer me to another thyroid test and tells me that he will send it right now. I took… advantage of the little time i had and went straight to the lab and waited 45min before they told me that they didn't have the order, I call the office and told them, they hurry me off the phone and said it will be sent now, I waited 30min more and still nothing. By this time I have to return to my son, I call the office and asked to speak to a supervisor or the doctor and they would not let me. I did loose my cool and let them have it in which she threatend me that if I didn't calm down she would hang up. i counted to 10 and said please for my health, please can you make sure you put it through!.....she hung up on me anyway! I have not returned to this joke of a doctor's office, instead I went to urgent care, got my test done that same hour and it's a good thing because my thyroid medicine had to be adjusted. I do not trust this doctor or facility!!!
