Dr. Michele Hornstein, DO

Dr Hornstein has always been upfront, honest thorough and on time Always been pleasant.

I only gave 2 stars because Dr. Hornstein herself is actually awesome and I really like her. The problem is her staff. She used have this horrible woman Ruby running her office who literally put me through hell to get any cooperation. Now she has an even ruder, mouthy, unhelpful, snotty office person in her TimberRidge office names Jaclyn. I was told twice by another associate that I could pick up my records after signing a release form. I waited and was then told not once but twice after going in that Jaclyn refused and would not print what I needed before leaving on a 9 month trip to Europe. I had to call the first person back, escalate a complaint (after Jaclyn said there is no office manager) another lie. Please Dr. Hornstein quit letting these rude, incompetent women ruin your practice. They are the ones dealing with your patients on the phone and in person and have control. It is apparent I am not the only patient who has these concerns. I would give you 5 stars and have in the… past but now I cannot. Today what I was put through cost me much needed time and aggravation that I simply didn't have to give. These women are going to ruin your practice. Find better people.

If you care about calls back and quality care don't go here. Unfortunately Dr Hornstein is great but her current staff is rude and very unhelpful!

"Ruby" the nurse RUINS the name of Dr Hornstein. This nurse tried to start a personal relationship with my daughter and got offended when things didn't go her way. She started giving us (myself, my mother and my daughter) a hard time by not calling in scripts, having an attitude and basically letting my elderly mother SUFFER because she got her feelings hurt when we didn't engage in a personal relationship with her. It's a shame because we love Dr. Hornstein. This nurse is TROUBLE and dangerous! Too bad because the doctor is great

She sure does change employers a a lot. I first saw Dr. Hornstein in 2010. During one visit, she had to reference one of her medical books. Hopefully she's gotten better over the years. Am oh so thankful to have found an internist who was proactive.

She is now with Premier Med Assoc in the Villages. She is extremely over-worked & under-appreciated thus not allowing her to be a better MD. The Owner or Senior MD has no respect for her & openly shows it in front of staff & patients. She would do far better in a smaller practice.

Dr, H seems to know what she is doing. She was quick to get me on thyroid medication once she noticed her sidekick PA did nothing-(my thyroid had shut down.) She actually listens to what you have to say and seems very knowledgable. She has to come a long way to our local office, I hope she will be able to continue to do so. She can only get there once a week :( The staff though covers her very well and keeps her informed and she does what she can from such a long distance away. They all seem very nice and eager to help you.

She has bee wonderfol at workin g wmith me on all my medications. I would not want to have anothr doc!
