Dr. Michele Dawn Lowe, DO

I was a patient of Dr. Lowe for 12 years and I was very surprised to learn that she left the practice when the office called to reschedule my annual. She was knowledgeable, friendly and truly cared for her patients. She made me feel comfortable through my one and only pregnancy. I hope she is doing well with her endeavors :)

I had been referred her between 2010-2012. She was very kind, thorough, she listened to everything. Worked with me and tried helping me get my issues under control. She was more upset than I was about needing a Hysterectomy. If we had not moved, I would have continued to see her. I wish her good luck in your future plans

I just found you left the practice when I called to make my annual appointment. I have had the best experience with Dr Lowe. She helped me when I initially got referred to her. She was helping with my other issues that I was having. She listened to everything I said and explained everything in terms that I was able to understand. She was every attentive and quick to respond through my whole pregnancy. Hope you do well in you future plans.

I went to her office and treated terrible by Dr Lowe and her office staff They gave me dirty looks and She was looking for ways to detour me as a patient As she didn't want to take the insurance I have Why do these doctors sign up to take the insurance They think it makes them look good And so when the patients get to there office They try to run them out by dirty looks then lying to them about their conditions or etc And if this fails to get patients out of their office They will start treating you terribly and talking to you like a dog to keep you from going back And Michelle Lowe is one She kept saying if I don't agree with her She can't see me as a patient First of all no doctor has any right to tell a patient what they can and cannot do with their own body and No doctors has a right to put a patient in a situation they are not comfortable with Not to mention the way I was treated by her and her staff You can take one look at her and see that all she needs to be a witch is a Broom… I received two letters at my home from her That if I could not agree with her She could not be my doctor When I don't know what on earth made her think I wanted her for a doctor I think she is the kind of doctor you want to keep away from I think she a real piece of dirt

My experiences with Dr. Lowe have been far from acceptable. At the first appointment, I was to be given a test that I had just had two weeks previous in a hospital E.D. This information was available to her office. I was told that the technicians were not aware of the previous test. First red flag. I found Dr. Lowe to be cold, indifferent and insensitive to my situation. I continued with her because one, she was recommended by my PCP and that my issue should have been taken care of quickly. It was not. After the initial surgery I had symptoms return. She tried me on a medication and kept increasing the dosage which didn't help. She then had a test run that showed my original issue had returned. She then switched my medication. This worked. When my prescription expired, I sent an email letting her know. It took over a week before the prescription was called. In that length of time, my symptoms returned a lasted for over a month. I have no confidence with her or her… staff.

I've been a patient of Dr Lowe for some time now. She is the best ob/gyn I've ever come across. I was a horrible patient, very neurotic during my first pregnancy, and she tried her best to keep me at ease. She made it back to the hospital in time to deliver our little boy at 33 weeks due to a placenta previa. As long as I'm in Columbus, I will be a loyal patient of her. She's incredibly friendly, and takes time with each of her patients. I don't care about longer wait times, as long as I can see her and get the care she provides.

I went to Dr. Lowe for the first time recently. She is the first ob/gyn I've had since moving to Ohio. She was incredibly friendly and put me at ease. I was most impressed with her working knowledge of her field and how easily she was able to answer my questions and explain things to me. I'm very much looking forward to my next annual visit!

that she was not here for birth of my until I was about to deliver him she told the nurse to not call her until 15 minutes before he was born because she was Christmas shopping while she was Christmas shopping she had another Doctor try to bust my water and when that happened she cut her hand inside of my private area then after all this happened she drops me after I have missed one appointment when her office called me to remind me of the appointment I pressed 2 as it appointed me to do if I was not going to show up and then she decided to drop me from her practice and when I called to ask for a number for another doctor her office told me to look in my insurance and that they cant help me she just stayed to be my doctor long enough to get the insurance payment I believe she just disliked me so that just gave her a excuse to drop me. she dose not even deserve the one star this website makes you give.

First appointment I waited an hour and a half in my paper gown on the exam table. She apologized but I felt so rushed I couldn't think straight. Second appointment I waited for over an hour at a different office that had moved yet no one let me know so I ended up having to call 411 to get the info on the new office location. Third appoint- MOVED AGAIN AND NO ONE INFORMED ME!! I waited for 45 minutes to see her this time and just like every other appointment impersonal, rushed. She is very accommodating to my wishes but I was put off when I had an issues, called for an appointment on a Thursday and was told I couldn't see any other dr's in the practice yet she is only in the office 3 days a week(M-T-W). A comment was made to me about inductions so accommodate her schedule. The ultrasound tech was also so quick for my "big ultrasound" she forgot to give me any pics! I hate to leave a bad review because she came highly recommended to me but I am not at this point clear why as my personal… experience with her and the practice in general has not been good at all.
