Michelle was the best medically provider I ever had, my heart was broken when she could no longer accept my insurance. I highly recommend her for anyone looking a very knowledgeable, caring physician !

Upset that I was not informed that as of Jan.1,2020 Dr.Morrison no longer accepts CIGNA insurance. I received a letter from CIGNA informing me that as of Sept.2020, she will no longer accept CIGNA!!

Loving and caring staff

I've been a patience with Dr. M. Morrison for over 15 yrs. I was taken to her by a friend after my primary doctor at the time kept telling me that I was tired and needed rest. I continued to tell him, what I was feeling was unusual. Dr. Morrison examined me right away & diagnosed me with a thyroid problem. If she had not, I would not be here today, my heart was beating so fast & hard I could see & hear it in my ears. She didn't let me leave her office until my heart slowed down and I had an appointment with an Endocrinologist. (Blessed) Now I must agree with some of the other comments about her phone service, it is frustrating trying to get someone to answer, even when leave a message for them to call back you're playing phone tag. I would think that after so many years the service would be better, but its not. but again I stay because of Dr. Morrison NOT the staff.

I scheduled 2 appointments with this office and waited approx. a month or so for the appointment date to arrive. The day of the appointment, I provided my driver's license and insurance card to the front desk upon arrival and proceeded to have a seat to complete a set forms. Soon after being seated, I was called back to the front desk and was informed the office does not accept 'Humana Market Place insurance". I asked the young lady, why was I not informed of this information when I scheduled the 2 appointments approx. one month ago. She stated "We have new employees and they probably did not know." There did not appear to be any consideration for the fact that I provided the information in advance of the appointment, the length of I time I waited for the appointment, the commute to the office or whether I had taken time off from work to attend this appointment. In addition, it felt insensitive to be told that the office does not accept Humana Market Place insurance. There were several… missed opportunities to identify this insurance plan was not accepted by this office.I would recommend that the new office staff is trained so they may identify this sort of issue upfront, the preceptors of the new office staff validate they are performing as expected, the office staff who calls to confirm the appointments validate with the other team members the customer's insurance is accepted by the office, the front desk staff develops a better script to inform customers' that their insurance plan is not accepted by this office and the office' automated call system is updated so the customer that did not receive any services does not receive a call the day after a scheduled appointment to inform them that it has been more than a year since their annual exam and to call the office to schedule an appointment. As a customer, I will make sure to do my due diligence to ensure a Provider is in network with my Market Place plan as well.

Wonderful bedside manner

I have had firsthand, and also for a patient I recommended, experience of Dr. Morrison and her staff going out of their way to accommodate our emergency. I did not feel uncomfortable because I had disrupted the schedule and Dr. M gave me her undivided attention when it was my turn. Her follow up and recommendation were on point. We were happy we chose her to take care of us!
