Unfortunately, I chose this doctor without checking references. Over tests and over diagnoses. Was fortunate I switched to another cardiologist to get a second opinion.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bachtel's for several years. It started with a simple tilt table test because I would pass out after kneeling down to a couple of years ago she found that I had a couple of widow makers in my heart. At all levels of my health she had taken the time I needed for treatment and explaining procedures and medicine to my satisfaction.

Dr. Bachtel always makes me feel like I am her only patient and spends time explaining what is going on with my heart and what the test have indicated.

Dr. Bachtel is an excellent physician in all regards, and her staff is equally professional. I'm a tough reviewer having taken care of a severely handicapped wife for 18 years and therefore experienced with dozens of healthcare professionals. I trust Dr. Bachtel completely. She treats you like a person not just a 'symptom'.

Dr Bachtel has a very quick mind that makes snap judgements. Our interaction was always poor because I asked many questions since I was very anxious. She put me on heavy medication to slow my atrial fibulation. I knew my heart was frequently stopping but was unable to get her to listen. I quickly went to my primary and after a 24 hr ekg was immediately place in the hospital and the next day had a pacemaker.
