Dr. Michelle Renee Bergner, MD

Since I have relocated to the area I visited Dr. Bergner as a new patient for a well-woman exam. During the exam I did not receive a breast exam which has always been customary with all previous exams I have had. I also asked a few questions pertaining to age related issues. Because of my questions asked, the insurance claim was billed as an office visit not fully covered by my insurance instead of an annual exam, costing me additional money. This is the first time in 30 years that I have ever had this happen. I walked out of the office knowing that the care was not up to standards set by previous OBGyn's, but I am even more disappointed now.

Dr. Bergner performed my surgery for endometriosis. Recovery should've been 3 days but took 3 weeks. She cut my cervix, resulting in stitches. The next day, I vomited for 7 hours and her nurses refused to tell her I needed help. A week later, I was out of pain medication and her nurses told me "We're not giving you more drugs just so you can have them." My coworker drove me to the ER, and Dr. Bergner's nurses refused to tell her I was there. Dr. Bergner was kind, but I can't recommend her office because of the way her nurses treated me. I called them 5 times the day I went to the ER because I wanted advice from Dr. Bergner. She overheard me on the phone after I was in the hospital and drove to the ER to come speak with me. She said her nurses never told her I called asking for her or that I had complications the day after surgery.

Couldn't ask for a better OB, she was wonderful...thank you, thank you

My son and I are very grateful for having her as our OB, wonderful bedside mannerand very professional.

I think she is an excellent doctor! She delivered my 2nd child and I'm going back to her for my 3rd! :) she has a friendly staff and she explains everything to where you understand it! I highly recommend her! :)
