Dr. Michelle Renee Birdsell, MD

She has always worked har to get the right treatment for my family. I would not go to anyone else

Dr. Birdsell is the best Mental Health Physician I have ever been to. Her bedside manner is wonderful. She makes you feel most comfortable at all times. She doesn't make you feel like she is the DOCTOR and you are the patient. She is very, very compassionate and really cares about her patients. She has treated my depression very well. I also have a 13 year old daughter with depression and ADHD. She is very stable thanks to Dr. Birdsell. I wouldn't go to anyone else.

Dr. Birdsmell seems to know her stuff, but she is good about running up the clock, & I does get very expensive. One neat thing about her is that she does have a great set of legs.

I would catch her pre-occupied and then she would put a fake smile on. She would pull her chair up close and stare at me, it would freak me out. Her receptionist called me a few weeks ago, said I wasn't seeing Dr Birdsell enough, but, she is the one who would tell me when to scedule my next appt., she didn't on my last appt. She got rid of me !!!!as a patient, She got rid of my daughter!!! she got rid of a friend of ours!!!! She is not !!!! compassionate !!!!

I have been going to her for over 2 years. She is fake. I like her but she comes across as being holier than thou. She just keeps adding meds and adding them, never taking one away. I feel overmedicated....Sweating all the time. Her diagnosis is that I am stable, but I am on disability for severe recurrent depression and anxiety. I feel like she is just medicating the problem not the person.

She has been the best psychiatrist I have EVER been to. She is trying so hard to find the right meds and dosages, and doesn't make me feel like another patient just coming and going out the door. I wish I could afford to see her more then I do as she is helping me that much.

My 9-year old has been seeing Dr. Birdsell for management of ADHD and related emotional issues (defiance and anger). It's been a slow trial of several medications to determine what would work best for her. After much trial and error and then refinement, I think we are at a good medication level for her. I think we made it because Dr. Birdsell listened both to my daughter and to me. She took her teacher's input as well, and balance other professional opinions. It's not easy. And I know many doctors who would have left her with medication that only sort of worked and labeled us a too difficult. Dr. Birdsell made me understand it would be a process, and then she really worked the process.I would totally recommend her if you are seeking medication management.

Dr. Birdsell really spends time and listens to my concerns. She also explains medications instead of just writing the prescription and sending me on my way. I feel more comfortable with her than I have previous psychiatrists.
