Dr. Michelle S Cohen, MD

This doctor performed colonoscopy/endoscopy procedures. My main complaint is that she was unwilling to answer my questions about the report. She stated that these questions could wait for the follow up appointment (which is two months from the date of the procedures.) This is not acceptable to me as a [atient.

I saw her for a routine colonoscopy. She snipped out a couple of polyps without any after-effects. Good bedside manner and I'll see her again in 5 years or so.

Mostly I heard what gastroenterologists don't do, and an anatomy lesson that certainly didn't add clarity. Very young doctor.

i had an initial appointment with dr. cohen at mt. sinai at cadman plaza. i had never met dr. cohen before and i was referred to her by my primary care doc at mt. sinai. the appointment was for jan. 4th 2019 at 1:40 pm. i arrived in the reception area at 1: 48 where i then had to wait another 6 minutes or so before being called to the desk. the receptionist called dr. cohen, who refused to see me--it's now 1: 55--i looked at my watch. i asked to speak to cohen, to explain the above, but dr. cohen refused to get on the phone . i was never asked if i wanted to reschedule. i also asked the person at the reception desk if it was standard procedure to turn away patients arriving 10 minutes late, who answered that it was not.
