Dr. Michelle Friedeck Costa, DO

was referred to Dr. Costa for fibromyalgia, was told she only worked with the newly diagnosed.

I went to dr Costa after moving to the cape from boston. I had a diagnosis of Sjogrens syndrome. She told me, no, I have fibromyalgia and she happens to be a fibromyalgia specialist and happens to be publishing a book and working on a new therapy on fibromyalgia. I went for a second opinion and the other rheumatologist verified my ANA levels were positive for Sjogrens syndrome. Dr Costa was to busy trying to publish her study to care about my health, she us a fraud and a danger!

I went to Dr. Costa for 5 years while a resident of Cape Cod. She is one of my favorite doctors of all time. She always took her time during my visits, never rushed. She did a fantastic job keeping my psorriatic arthritis under control. I wish she was in Nashville.

This DO, is intelligent but very plastic. Does not take side effects of prednisone induced depression seriously. Did not believe me when I told her I was experiencing lack of sleep followed by excessive sleep, headaches, and mood swings. I will not return to go to her again.

5 stars all the way. Dr. Costa has been treating and working with me for 6 years now for an autoimmune condition. I tried two other rheumatologists on Cape Cod before I found her. She respects her patients and is very understanding.

She is a fabulous doctor!

Dr. Costa is very intelligent, diagnoses your illness promptly, believes in lab tests, is always on time, gives you as much time as you need to understand your problems, and has a great assistant named Monique. My husband and I are both patients and we give her an A ++++

I have been with Dr. Costa for over five years. She is extremely caring about her patients. She is also very knowledgeable as to my issues and my care. I would highly recommend her to anybody.

Dr. Costa was the first doctor that listen and took my pain serious and is willing to work with my to get a better quality of life.

In the years of doctor's visits I have had for my particular health problem, I have never encountered a more caring doctor than Dr. Michelle Costa. In my first visit, she REALLY listened to me and answered my questions in a way that I was able to understand. She seems to know her stuff and she has a good bedside manner (which is important). The best thing is, I feel better on the treatment she recommended. I think she's great--and I don't say that very often!
