I had an EMG in 2011 by with Dr. Crooks and loved her bedside manners as well as her understanding and compassion regarding my neck and lumbar spine injury. She was very thorough, even in reviewing my history and MRI's. I can see why she has won awards in patient care and compassion.

Dr. Crooks answered the questions that both me and my husband had. I had an AVM (aka) brain bleed. After having surgury on my brain to remove the area of the bleed, I spent time in the neuro intensive care unit at Borgess. The second time I saw her I was getting anoying headaches. She gave me a scrip and explained to me why I was getting them. I think she's a very caring doctor.

She said, that she doesn't believe that Chiropractors are 'real doctors' and that it's your spinal cord, your life force and they are messing with it. Was rude when telling me she wouldn't give me pain meds for my disease (Trigeminal Neuralgia which is RARE). Even though I didn't ask for any. And, talked down to me about friend that is a RN about not taking a specific medication and said that I was listening to someone that 'isn't a doctor'. And, she didn't even look at my medical records before I got there, so, she couldn't answer my questions, but wants me to take a 'medication'.

Dr. Crooks gave me the time to explain my problems and did a thorough exam before deciding on a possible diagnosis and workup. Her office staff is prompt in getting back to me.
