Dr. Michelle Hurwitz

Michelle Hurwitz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 13 years of experience in the mental health field. Her dedication to her work propels her to explore issues with her clients to minimize their suffering and improve their lives. Michelle specializes in helping adults and seniors to manage depression, anxiety, life transitions, parenting, trauma, and women's issues. Michelle completed her Master's degree in Social Work at Rutgers University in New Jersey. She is a mother and stepmother of two teens and a preschooler and has abundant experience as a parent. Her personal experience, combined with her clinical and professional expertise, enables her to support and counsel clients with compassion. Michelle uses a diverse array of treatment approaches including, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, attachment-based therapy (ABT), and different mindful-based therapies.
