Dr. Michelle Le Markley, MD

Dr. Markley is very kind and super caring. I’ve been with her since I turned 18 and my mom has seen her for over 10 years. Although, she is a very sweet lady, there are things that aren’t that great. You can NEVER get an appointment within a weeks time. The last three appointments I’ve scheduled, I had to wait over a week to see her. So I’ve been seeing random doctors if my pain is too intense. Also, her nurses attitude can use some adjusting. Margaret, I believe is her name, just seems miserable in her position. Needless to say, I’ll be changing doctors soon.

I've seen Dr. Markley for over 13 years, since I was a teenager. She's inaccurately diagnosed me so many times, it's horrifying, and could have cost me my life. When I contracted herpes, she misdiagnosed it as a yeast infection. When I came in with a pain in my leg, and post partum depression, she gave me the anti-depressant I specifically asked not to have, and completely ignored the fact that I HAD A BLOOD CLOT IN MY LEG. Then, when I came in profusely sweating and exhausted a couple years after that, she nonchalantly said I was probably going into early menopause at age 27, when it turned out I had Mono and Hepatitis A!!!! What good I can say is that she's very caring and has always remembered me. I honestly kept her as my PCP for so long because her bedside manner is impeccable. But the early menopause thing was the last straw; it felt really awful to be told I maybe couldn't have children anymore, and then ending up in the hospital later that night when my liver began to fail.… I should have walked away after what happened with the blood clot, where I could have died - luckily, when I went back again, Dr. Garcia took me seriously and I went into the ER that day. Though he didn't do a follow-up sonogram and the clot kept expanding until I finally went to a hematologist - but that's another story for another review. So, in short, great for very minor things, like "I'm sick." Except not that great, because it's so hard to get an appointment. Bad for anything else.

Dr. Michele Markley is always polite ,concern and very professional .She has been my doctor for years

I have been going to Dr. Markley for a few years. She is very kind and understanding. She asks lots of questions to make sure she gets the whole picture. It is hard to get an appointment sometimes as she seems to be a very poplular dr. I know of several co-workers that go the her as well as family and friends. I would not change dr.'s for anything. She calls and follows up with any issued that need attention. She is GREAT at giving samples of medications before writing a presctription. She wants to make sure the meds work before you spend alot of money on something that may need to be changed in a few weeks. I would recomend this dr to anyone.
